I just let them all update on its own. Seems to be working pretty good. We don't have big desire to have to use all there features that they keep adding.

Now just seeing Sonoma 14.7 but no Sequoia.

UK based. Intel MBP2020

Just got it now.

I now actually believe complaining on this thread to get the update to show up is really a thing.

Nah, I had the same issues. All my M-series Mac’s got the update but none of my Intel Mac’s. Only just now my Intel Mac’s got the update.

Apple simply delayed the Intel Mac update.

Well crud.. how does one get the fullinstaller when on 15.1?

Maybe try terminal, I see the full installer "softwareupdate --list-full-installers"

This should download it: "softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 15.0"

Article is incorrect as the new os is also available for the last MacBook Pro intel model released in 2016 - I know I’m installing it right now

A new macOS usually comes out a month later after iOS, so for it to come out at the same time is quite new. That’s cool, will update to Sequoia but I’ll have to do backup first.

Remember to wait a week or two before updating unless you want to be one of the bug catchers.
The betas must be pointless then lol

All setup. For mac and iPhone one full hour to download, install, test out iPhone mirroring and re-backup both devices. Not too bad.

Careful if you install it ... I installed the developer beta RC (MacBook Pro M3 Max) and while all worked quite well, the quicklook function on Word (docx) and Excel (xlsx) files did not work (the file kind is wrong). I tried a lot to get it to work (up to resetting launchd, etc), nothing worked. I even tried a fresh install : no luck... In the end, I came back to Sonama (took forever to reinstall). If you rely on quicklook/preview, stay away for now.

Has anyone noticed that on the Sound slider, if you click anywhere in it the "toggle" now travels to the location of your click slower than before? Before was instantaneous lol

Installed, everything seems fine.

However, I recommend waiting until 23568854.1, like all the cool kids here.

Well that was boring. Updated. Test cases run (yes I have about 100 test cases to run through). Everything works properly, even the weird pile of mathematical stuff I have set up in homebrew!

Updating to a new macOS is always a bad time. Tons of bugs and workflows breaking randomly.

Never update macOS unless you get a new mac and you're forced to
If only browsers worked forever. I am still on Monterey but I guess Firefox will soon force me to update macOS or sites will suddenly stop working properly:(

Yup, iPhone mirroring is broken sigh...

When the phone is unlocked it says its in use and when its not, it sits on connecting before timing out...

iCloud tabs in Safari on Sequoia seems broken too

FYI, those are all working for me. Did your phone at least ask you to confirm it's ok to mirror?
