There's a special software update for it too - it appeared when I visited me.com on one computer, but not the other... strange... It was a pop up that from the site that invited me to click on it and then automatically loaded Software Update.

Ah - someone emailed me with huge attachment, sorry if I'm slowing down anyone's MobileMe experience :p

I don't see the software update on my computer. Mobileme website is still loading!

Even though my mobileme account details show 20 GB, my mac shows only 10 GB so far...

Apple said that for existing users it could take up to 10 days to reflect the data storage changes.

My iDisk isn't even synched correctly between what is on my desktop and what is on me.com.

I can't sign in to my expired .mac account (I want to renew it).

It shows in System Preferences and Control Panel in Windows OK, but the me.com site wont accept it.

I laugh with you...... about time apple did something against microsoft after there effort at msn for mac

Nothing against them - Microsoft are behind with their web browsing technologies. We're in the fast lane now, and it's good to know Apple is in that lane.

mobile me says july 11th for iphone 2.0

it says during trial setup that you can setup both iphone/ipod + computer: available july 11th. but you can select setup computer.

this is sad :(

Good news is Walt Mossberg was completely wrong: You can sync MobileMe and Exchange over the air with push to the same iPhone

hahahahaha - from my work desktop
No IE7 support? seems short sighted IMO.

I was going to buy a family pack but seems pointless if I can't use it on 90% of computers. I know Safari and FireFox are good, but you can't go around installing them on everyones machine you use.

Is it worth it for push email on the iPhone? (I know I can use it on my Mac, but I have Entourage for that)...!!!

WOW HOW DO THEY MAKE IT RUN SO FAST!

but never mind ferrari's, after waiting all morning to check for relatively important messages i still can't see any of them! this looks like it is much better than .mac...

WOW why does going to me.com forward me to the information page on apple.com again?!!!???

For a web mail service that's supposed to let you check your e-mail on any computer - it's not very good when most of the machines you use happen to be running IE6 and your more or less told to go away!

I know IE is behind the times, but to not even offer a 'cut down' version that works on older browsers is a bit stupid.

After all, let's not forget many corporate and enterprise businesses don't always run the latest version!

It's not *no* IE7 support. Just limited, I guess.
