I do part time tutoring and lecturing and all of the students have an iPad (it's mandatory for the course), but based on what I've seen, I'd say about half of them have Android phones. I myself have a Mac and an iPad, but a Samsung phone.
It's not that uncommon.
But it's irrelevant to me - I have no use for an invites app

I’m not so sure; my wife is a sports coach and uses similar apps to coordinate players and their signups to training sessions and matches. Having this included in our Apple One subscription might be a better option for her? 🤷♂️
it is too bad they didn't test Apple Invites with Advanced Data Protection turned on. It appears that the only way to view the invitation or respond is to turn ADP off and that's not happening. A very bad design.
Edit: it turns out that the host had a setting wrong, and that was the issue, but that still seems like something that's a bad design to allow it to get to that point.
nice idea, i see it growing and few years probably you will ask how we even managed an event without this app.
I also didn't like how it was behind the paywall. but they should atleast allow icloud+ user to choose someone non icloud+ if needed to manage the even.
