How big is the file size?

It says 4.05 GB.

If you recall, there was a post on Mac Rumors last year on how to make a Mac OS X Lion Boot Disc, does anyone know if there is a way to do the same for OS X Mountain Lion?

Its exactly the same as how you do it for Lion, once you view the package contents all the folders and files you need are called the same.

The Up to Date page seems to down. I get this:
