Did you actually bother to read what he wrote? The "crappy" third party battery is performing like a champ. Apple's genuine battery inserted by Apple's own technicians almost destroyed his phone and Apple didn't care.

Yup! Not one, but two, Apple Geniuses (do they still call themselves that?) said that pressure spot I was seeing on my LCD was signs of the LCD failing and denied anything wrong with the battery. Even though the iPhone was slightly warped and could "rock" when removed from the case and placed screen down on the Genius Bar and could feel that it was not an even thickness when held. Surprise surprise, the pressure spot on the LCD went away and returned to normal as soon as I replaced the battery myself.
