just updated... yeah no trouble with 2FA... watch OS 3 doesn't install... which was expected after reading these forums. Phone seems snappy and all apps work so far... (FINGERS CROSSED)
For the 1800th time, Apple doesn't put out WatchOS public betas!
Apple doesn't put out WatchOS public betas…yet!
They have the infrastructure set up to do so when they choose as demonstrated by the fact we can install the watch beta profile.
What Apple has done in the past is rarely an indicator of what they'll do in the future.
I enrolled in the iOS 9 public beta program. Was my enrollment just for iOS9 and do I have to re-enroll or will I get the iOS 10 public beta without having to contact Apple?
You will have to re-enroll and do it all over again.
This is accurate and my original response was too simplistic. Also, I had to delete an iOS 9 beta profile first. If you're not running iOS 9 Beta--whatever--, shouldn't be an issue. You may have to reinstall the beta profile but your beta account will still be active
Can't wait! Of course It is going to be buggy but I'll still take it for revamped Apple Music app. I am curious just how much better it really is.
Unwise in my opinion.
Beta 2 is not ready for the masses.
Question: How stable is the macOS beta, and how stable is the iOS beta?
I am enjoying the new notifications in iOS 10. Clean and readable. The new Map app is a welcome change! You can actually see the TBT instructions. Better layout overall. Siri seems a bit slow...but that might change over night after indexing and all.
Never say never. They will never introduce a public beta on the watch until there is a way for a downgrade at home.
But new notifications uses too much screen estate especially in landscape, at top.I am enjoying the new notifications in iOS 10. Clean and readable. The new Map app is a welcome change! Then the best place for you is those threads in macOS Siearra forum, which may have mentioned all you want to know.So here's the question. We've established iOS is a pretty solid beta. What about MacOS? And please don't tell me it's full of bugs, as I am aware of that already. My question how's the every day use, does it crash every day, or few hours. What's the battery like? These kind of things.
Downloading macOS Sierra's beta now.
At this time, is it at least good enough to install on an external drive?
So, pressing a button to activate a voice activated assistant. Hummmmmmmmmmm...
I suspect the profile is needed since the watch is generally tethered to the phone. Or quickly so they can still communicate and function.Apple doesn't put out WatchOS public betas…yet!

Although this thread is regarding BOTH public beta releases...Then the best place for you is those threads in macOS Siearra forum, which may have mentioned all you want to know.
Yep. Works like a charm. The real question we need answered is if Pokémon Go is compatible with iOS 10 or not. I'm running the latest PB 9.3.3 and it works fine, but if I have to choose between the two, it is Pokémon FTW.
If it hangs on restarting, try restarting from the login screen. Not sure that is your issue, but it's what I've encountered with several updates. Seems really solid, from the hours I've played with it, without any major impacts on daily usage. No apps were found incompatible (knock on wood-mileage may vary depending on the individual circumstances). Siri is a welcome feature in my use. After a zillion attempts I have lost the will to live, I'll wait until the fall launch![]()
WARNING: If you plan to install this on any device (primary or secondary) ensure that Two-Factor authentication is DISABLED and for the mean time use Two-Step authentication as some users are reporting that they have been locked out of their Apple account and Apple themselves can do nothing about it.
The security methods above are different and NOT the same!
