Beta 2 has been pretty good when compared to the first beta. No crashes and smooth as can be. Visual voicemail now has the text

Didn't expect this to happen so soon. Was expecting after beta 3.

took me by surprise so early on... I guess Apple really wants to catch those issues. Or, Apple is confident that they are getting a rock-solid OS, early on in development between releases's of OS's enough to try something 'different'

(Don't hold me to that)

Once someone has the iOS 10 beta up and running, can you post build number. Curious to know if its the same as DP 2. Last year PB/DP builds were slightly different.

I had to roll back from 10 - 9.3.3 as the Pebble App seemed to suffer amnesia every time I rebooted the phone, once Pebble fix that (I have fed back to them) then its on like Donkey Kong.

I have Sierra on my Mac though and it seems good enough though, no real issues with it.

:(

Oddly, I didn't see any sources in any of the articles showing where Apple announced that the betas would be released today. I hope we're not being trolled.

It could be that Apple just emailed/privately spoke with some journalists to tell them the news, but I still think it's odd.

I think both macrumors and 9to5 stated today, and many of us assumed a traditional 10 am PST release. I've seen some come around in the afternoon, so who knows. Just endless refreshes and sign ins.

Running Dev Beta 2... it should be Beta 3 or later. One of the better Betas 1 and 2 ever, but not ready for prime time - even in a "public beta" context.

Public betas are meant for the tech savvy public who aren't registered developers.

The majority of non-tech people aren't going to install this on their device because they don't know how to, can't live without social media anyway and constantly complain how their battery sucks as a direct result.

Hence, it is ready.

Um, I meant iOS 10 beta 2. :p

As for Sierra, I've been using it since beta 1 and beta 1 was way worse for me. Since that Chrome bug was fixed that ate up all my RAM it's been mostly like El Cap.

Plex takes a while to open. I don't use Siri on either platform because she's useless for me. Xcode works at least.

Oh OK. :)

I don't use SIRI either :))
I just played with it to see if it's more usable - at least for me - on the Mac.
But it's really really not :)

I find it weird and normally when using a mac - well kids make noises and many other sources of noise and Siri doesn't get things.
Personally I do not believe I will be using SIRI on the mac.
Dimming the screen - well it's faster if I just press buttons.
Checking weather - faster if I see notification centre.
Maybe searching for some images over the web but even like this I prefer to see all the results not just 12 of them....
I keep my files organised and I know where they are - I don't need to search for them using Siri.

Cheers! :)

For the code for mac OS the app store wouldn't load so I retried reloading. And now it says code already redeemed. :( Anyone know how I can fix it?

Check purchases. It should be there. Assuming you logged it when you clicked redeem.
