Which case is that and does it fully cover the bottom portion? Apple leather case has a cutout at the bottom for ports and I am looking for one which wraps around completely.

So I used some leather conditioner on my case with the water stain.

I personally enjoy how it looks and the water stain is very hard for me to notice anymore.

There’s a few scuffs here and there but I think they add some character to the case overall.

It’s a bull strap case. It’s exactly like the apple case so the bottom is exposed. No one makes a full leather, full coverage iPhone case. Next closet thing would be a nomad case

Saddle Brown FTW! It’s really coming along great, hopefully I don’t give in on selling this one like how I did with the other one.

looks great,

thats what's gotta be tough about constantly upgrading phones is restarting the patina process

im really pumped to drive my SE2 , and hence, my saddle brown into the ground (when not using silicone case ) -- even if not my daily, not getting rid of the device

That’s my dilemma as well.

You’re getting the 2020 se or waiting for the 12? Are you going to use a saddle brown for the 6 or 6s? I forgot which saddle brown cases fit the se2.

both in essence. Already have SE2020 have for about two weeks now :D I'll see whaat 12 brings, and even if Covid sweeps me this year financially I have a gift card that can pay for most of the 5.4" model at least if the rumored pricing is accurate that has been burning a hole in my pocket, which so far seems way more alluring than another 6.1" or 6.7" or the associated pricing on the Pro end -- feature dependent of course. If the Pro brings the absolute ruckus and I see the value, I'll do it.Open to it at least, begrudgingly.

Sold my XR to 'wait' for the 12's, but we'll see. Got great recoup on it too

I cant resist the SE's. SE1 I still fiddle with.

Never selling my SE2, regardless. It will be my backup phone / always jailbroken phone (once its jailbroken a first time) even if I move on. Got the 128 for $250 through the ATT Walmart deal (though applies to Verizon and I think sprint plans too)

So I will be able to contribute a patina saddle brown photo years later guaranteed, for once haha

Thanks, but honestly I don’t mind. I like watching the process happen week by week happen. Especially being stuck at home I’ve been using my phone more than ever so the patina process is happening pretty quickly at the rate that I’m using my phone I wouldn’t be surprised to see this case turn black lol ?

Is Apple still making their saddle brown for the 7/8? And those fit the se2 correct?

yeah the one for the iPhone 8 specifically for mine. Not sure if Apple is still making them but mine was like-new, manufacturer date of sometime in late 2017 on the box.

Is that iPhone 7/8 case on SE 2020? Does it fit properly? I asked because there have been issues with screen protectors not sticking properly on SE 2020.

yah it’s for the 8works perfect With se2. Get amfilm for se2020 on Amazon. Title says halo free. It is I can confirm

I’m taking my faux patina saddle brown for a test drive again. Hopefully for a couple of days. If I find another saddle brown on sale, I’ll get it, leave it alone and start the entire natural aging process.

Might as well the new iPhones are probably going to be delayed. So that will give you plenty of time to get some patina. After all Saddle Brown is the epitome of classic leather ??
