Another black leather case user on my 6+. I think $50 is a total rip off but wanted something on it right away and saw nothing else I liked. But it looks good, feels good doesn't add much bulk so I'm happy with it.

I also love the fact that both cases allow me to use any speaker dock I want without removing the case. :) Also, silicone maintains the color you bought over time. If I decide to try other colors to spice things up, silicone is the only real option.

The leather is just cheap chemically treated leather. Also rubs against the skin in a weird way and causes contact dermatitis for the wife and I (not sure if our hand soap has an ingredient that interacts badly with it).

The silicone doesn't have the same issue, but only comes in bright colors.

Can anyone share photos of the dark blue leather case on either colour iPhone? It seems like navy and white would be an especially slick combination

If you go to the iPhone Accessories sub forum and check out the Apple Case thread, you will find a lot of pictures. This thread is out of place in the wrong forum.

I love the look of the blue silicone but I have the beige leather one on the way.....

I've always used silicone, never had any issues - I may do an exchange when the Apple Store mellows out

I love the design so much I wish it didn't require a case but with the slippery feel of the iPhone I feel like I don't have a choice....

Leather > Silicone

The silicone case is great and it actually fits a little more precisely to the phone than the leather does. That said, the silicone does attract lots of lint and dust and doesn't slide into pockets as well. Took mine back and exchanged it for a leather one. Not disappointed!
