It only works in the Webkit based browsers...i.e. Safari and derivatives. It doesn't work in FF or in Camino, AFAIK. Does that help?

You need to change the font to one that supports that character on all systems, something like one of the Lucida fonts (I think it was):

I think he's making a joke and refering to the apple symbol since this thread is about it showing up as a ?, otherwise refering to lack of knowledge.

imacintel dosen't use Lucida (or another font supporting all the Special Characters) and thus we cannot all know just how happy... 🙄 😛
