Apple Looking to Launch Siri-Enabled Television Set by 2013

Software upgrades most likely will support older models for quite some time with an official Apple TV. Hell I am already amazed at how long of a life an iPhone gets, the 3GS still gets iOS 5 support, remember that 🙂.

True - but often key new features don't work on older models - even the 4 doesn't have Siri, for example.

No it is not and can not ever be. Too many variables: speech problems, heavy accents, inability to speak at all.....

This is why Apple or anyone else cannot ever develop a computer, television or other device which is solely dependent upon the human voice to control it.

Its a long game for AI - wait until Siri's brain gets bigger.. 5—10 years

I hope people don't call it revolutionary because there is something called the Kinect that has already done it.
