"Well, we can't have any women working at Apple, now can we?"

I don't think I've ever seen a female present anything on behalf of Apple at a keynote, yet the iPhone is considered the more female alternative to the male-oriented Android.

So they ask their male presenters to consider their audience. Do you see a lot of 'guys' on the cover of "Maxim"?

Danika has presented for the iPhone and I believe it was when iChat/iSight when it added conferencing with more than one person.

this is bad news. it's a sign in the shift of apple as we know it.

things are transitioning away from mac desktops, osx and steve jobs.

steve jobs will be leaving soon (health), osx will begin to merge closer to ios, portables such as the air and ipad will dominate the market.

the previous higher-ups do not want to be a part of this transition and have opted to move on.

i feel after steve leaves....apple will begin to go down hill over the course of 7 years.

goodbye apple

.
First Jonny I've tries to leave, now this person. Soon Steve will be dead, so I think these people are trying to get out before the inevitable mass exodus that will ensue.

Probably means Jobs isn't coming back.

One and one and one is seven now?

I seriously don't get how people can take news like this and add their own conjuncture so they can write about how doomed Apple is! Seriously, if you're going to speculate just speculate no need to add conjuncture..

+1. Jesus things have changed in the last 10 years... :( I want more focus on Macs!

What the ****, Apple has released new MacBook Air's and MacBook Pro's recently they will show off their new operating system Mac OS X Lion at WWDC this summer! How much more focus on Mac's do you want?

The charming frenchman left because he wanted to focus on science. It was a changing of the guards basically.

Microsoft just lost their Marketing Chief too, weird.

Microsoft Marketing Chief leaving

I am glad I am not the only one who was thinking this.

I'm getting my Bachelors degree soon and guess what it's for...Marketing.
Haha, better for me I guess lol.

and so the exodus begins from a company who has slowed down the innovation train and made way for the gravy train.. coasting on fumes of past successes and repackaging them in different forms. Once Jobs is gone, maybe the company will get back to their roots of innovating again, without Jobs' EGO getting in the way.

She probably had this great marketing campaign for the xMac and became despondent because she knew it would never be used.:D

actually, it was jobs who innovated and brought the company back from the brinks of hell and revitalized their culture. however, i think now, he has piqued with his vision and is trying to push too far...and as a result, will crash the company (or set the crash-to-be in motion before he leaves).

think of it this way...when a t.v. series is on, usually the first few season are great. building off each of the previous ones. however, sometimes networks keep renewing them and each new season there after slowly becomes worse and worse.

go out on top.

Apple is a sinking ship. They're in deep trouble.

Who knows what the impact of her leaving will be.

But how can this poster say Apple is a sinking ship? What? Apple is at the height of their popularity. I think that consumers positive experiences with the iPad, iPod, and iPhone will also drive more customers to the Mac Computers. All it took was a couple generations of the iPod Touch for me before I bought an Apple MacBook Pro and gave the Mac a try. I love it!

Estimated shipping date for iPad 2 is still 4-5 weeks. Yeah.. hasn't peaked just quite yet.

Wow. You must have read a different press release than me.

A couple of people leave and the whole place is going down in flames. Better they should stay forever at Apple than have dreams and ambitions of their own. No, the sky must surely be falling.

Apple as a company is more than the sum of its parts. It didn't collapse in the 90s when it had been an okay-ish niche kinda company. It won't collapse now in the 10's when it's an industry-defining company.

She's making the biggest mistake of her life leaving Apple - downhill from here. It's like an equivalent of leaving the LA Lakers and joining a team in the CBA. Apple will the vacancy no problem.
