Apple will cope fine without her, still have Phill Schiller and more importantly Tim Cook. Steve will always be around in some capacity...

Yeah which is why he announced that he cancelled Lion and he's ordered all stores to dump all their computer stock in the trash. Oh and those folks that claimed they saw the new Final Cut. Liars. they were actually told that it's being yanked and they are using Steve's sacred kill button to render all current versions useless.

Get over it. Apple is still a computer company as much as they were. The only folks that don't care about computers are the blogs and news sites. Stories about iOS based stuff gets more hits so that's what they post. Period.

this is bad news. it's a sign in the shift of apple as we know it.

things are transitioning away from mac desktops, osx and steve jobs.

steve jobs will be leaving soon (health), osx will begin to merge closer to ios, portables such as the air and ipad will dominate the market.

the previous higher-ups do not want to be a part of this transition and have opted to move on.

i feel after steve leaves....apple will begin to go down hill over the course of 7 years.

What a pile of utter FUD crap. You have zero information to support any of that. Particularly the notion that any of these folks leaving is due to Jobs medical status or a desire to not stay if he isn't there. These folks have done their time and are ready for something different. It is very possible that they are leaving with Apple's support. It's a company not a prison camp. ANd in the end it could have little to no actual effect on Apple's plans for the future or ability to support those plans. Not even if it's Jobs that is leaving.

2 cents you have zero to back it up with. Neither of the two parties have said a word about Cook or anyone else. Unless you want us to believe you have some top secret source that told you that they are lying about why they are leaving. Hey lets really get out there on a limb and say that they are making up lies to cover up that they refuse to work for a homosexual. Nutty but it makes for a great headline doesn't it. Imagine all the hits that kind of article would get.

anyway, apple has the public in their palms and the worldwide hunger for all things apples serves as it's best marketing strategy - im sure she can be replaced in a heartbeat
