Apple Make a 7" iPad Please

I, personally, would have no interest in a 7" iPad, too much scrolling and zooming and not much more portable (imo) however there are plenty who like the idea.

No reason why there shouldn`t be both options.

Hell, stick an A5 in the the baby iPod chassis - iPad Nano
