Has anyone had Google Maps re-route them with the new update? I'm curious what your experience was. Do you think it saved you time?

Why shouldn't it be a question? There is people who have great experience with Apple maps (including myself) So yes, the question makes perfect sense.

This is the thing with people....

Apples Maps is horrible.

Maybe 70% of the time I use it it is wrong, and I live in a major city (Houston).

From locations >100 feet off, to missing streets, or streets not there, and in more than 66% of of the time.

It simply is not safe to use.

Seems as if I'm not the only one with this problem, eh?

People that use Apple maps on a consistent basis generally tend to have large issues, myself included. Which is why I stopped even trying to use it.

i use google maps when im in manhattan or anywhere im not quite familiar with. i normally don't use maps since im always in the same places but when i go into the city i tend to use google maps.

The only times i use Apple maps is when im bored and i gaze at the 3D cities :D

Oh great! So you found a comment to quote from an unhappy Apple user who wrote with huge fonts (thinking that the bigger the letters are, the bigger the point he makes) and therefore the rest of the world shares your opinion/experience!!! Get real people! Different users = different location = different experience. So just because Apple maps does not work for you, it does not mean it doesn't work for the rest of the world. Therefore the question Apple maps or Goole maps makes perfect sense.

I use both but to be quite honest, less and less feel the need for Google maps.

Says the guy using plenty of exclamation points :p

Sure everyone has different experiences, this is why there is such a large technological market with a large selection of companies. I was simply saying that just about everyone I know has had zero luck with Apple Maps and prefer Google Maps, myself included.
