Where are all those PC users that were supposed to switch from their 5-year-or-older PCs to the iPad Pro, Phil?

Wow, out of context much?

He was responding to a conversation about how it's weird to say iPad Pro's (prose) or iPads Pro. He merely suggested that it's never required to pluralize the word. He gave an alternative to avoid the sticky situation they were discussing. He did NOT say "Never pluralize Apple devices"

Give me a break, MacRumors...

My reaction was negative at first, then I realized the headline had truncated the entire statement. That headline takes on a whole different vibe when you add "One need never pluralize..." When I thought about it in context, I don't find it to be a demanding statement at all; only a suggestion. And before you suggest that i've "drank the KoolAid" I promise you that is not the case.

They baited, we clicked.

As unladylike as it was, I couldn't help it that my first reaction upon reading this tripe was to blurt out "Bite me, Phil."

So this is the snooty answer we should expect if we ask "when will the new MacBook Pros be released?".

I was always wondering who was the grammar police around here, nitpicking at what can sometimes be a single letter or misplaced apostrophe. Now we know. ;)

I'm wanting to write a couldn't care less and could care less in the same sentence just to hear from the top...

I could care less about couldn't caring less or I couldn't care less about could care less. Could I be caring less or couldn't I be? Cue Phil.;)

"Can't innovate my ass". This is perfect example of what's wrong with Apple. Why don't you guys develop the next great thing instead of bastardizing the english language. What is the plural for more than 1 Apple employee? "Apple Shills"!

I bought two Apple Watch watches? Mmmk.

Per this, apparently that should be "I bought two Apple Watch timepieces" or similar. It appears the key is to go from fewer syllables to many more while still conveying the same idea that probably anyone can grasp who sees it either way. Of course, if there is real confusion between "3 iPads" and "3 iPad devices" then bring on the syllables.
