"MAKE APPLE GREAT AGAIN" focus on iPhone color; in the mean time other innovates!View attachment 670946
Yes, very nice.
But I read somewhere that they will release it in very small quantities. Something like 100000.
Apple could produce something like this, but they will need about 10 million to get through the opening weekend.
If they produce a 100000, it will be sold out in preorder by about half an hour, perhaps 5 minutes, and then the moaning begins.

Perhaps the jet white rumour is for the next iPhone. Perhaps it will even be ceramic.

Look at this concept:

No, they didn't. In fact, they said the opposite: that its finish is as hard as the others. That means it is not more likely to scratch. Scratches will, however, show up more and they said that as well.

Look, believe what you want. But I use my phone normally and there are zero scratches. If I get any in the future and if they bother me, I'll use a case. Pretty simple.
well they put it in a "politically correct" way of course, you didn't expect them to come and say don't buy it it's coating rubs off and scratches easily did you?,
I mean everyone here and everyone in the world knows that this shade scratches MUCH easier than the other shades.I don't know why you are insisting on false claims?

here is one example video testing it vs other iPhone 7 colors, there is no need to argue at all:

When manufacturers talk about "hardness," they are describing something measurable. That's therefore not a claim the manufacturer can falsely make. It's telling, though, that you are now trying to dismiss as "politically correct" the very statement on which you relied in arguing that what I had experienced with my own phone was false. On that, I will simply say that I was truthfully reporting what I experienced. The fact, whether or not you believe it, is that my Jet Black iPhone is scratch free following significant real-world use without a case. My opinion based on that fact is that it's a quality finish. The purpose of my post was not to help or hurt Apple, as I don't have a dog in that hunt, but rather to provide a user observation for the benefit of those who are interested.

I see no correlation between a propulsion mechanism and colors - maybe its inspired by JetBlue??
Because there is more to this than propulsion. "Jet" does indeed have different meanings (like several other words). Jet in the sense of propulsion comes from French "jeter" which means to throw or sprout (same source as with "jettison" as well as "jetty" – a thrown out construction). "Jet"(stone) comes also from French "jaiet" (also lignite) which comes from latin "gagates" which refers to a river in old Lycia (today south in Turkey) where these black stones where found.

Tim Cook and Ive are screwing big time with the Apple customers. They really think we are so dumb. How about adding wireless charging instead ?

But consumers like myself, will continue to throw money at Apple...because we can and it's our decision to do so. I'm sure your daily complaining will take you far, as you do with every post.

ok, just tell me something with honestly : are you confident that your jet black iPhone 7 is as durable as other iPhones?
I'm not saying it will scratch with touch of skin etc, what I'm saying is the way they manufactured this particular shade, it's much more prone to scratches.it will scratch MUCH,MUCH easier than other colors of iPhone 7 and indeed other iPhones.
now this is a proven fact, there are numerous threads here on Macrumors and every where else.and you wanting to refuse that is just ridiculous tbh.

you again ? I'll repeat it to you for the last time: keep licking Timmy's boots, buy everything you want and be happy!

Wireless charging is expected next year. It's a feature I want but it's hardly something I miss badly by not having.

Oh, I'm sorry.... am I speaking with the one netizen unaware of how Poe's Law works??!
Unless you know that guy personally or closely follow his post history, you (like everyone else) have ZERO idea of whether or not his straightforward statement is actually sarcasm.
That is why we have smileys, the term "jk", & the /sarcasm tag.

I mean he's talking about a phone. Save your mental breakdowns for Reddit and let people talk about Apple products without being judged by you. You must be fun at parties.

Haha; ahh... thanks. I had totally forgot about this post from a few days back!!!
Yeah; I actually did realize that he was talking about a phone! =)
Ummm, I'm a bit confused about your "mental breakdown" comment, lol. I guess that's how you're fun at parties?? Brag about how you "bully" people online?? Nice!
I especially dig how you are up on a high horse, standing on another pedestal.... preaching about judgement, whilst hurling insults. Classy! Try this: pick up your phone & say- "hey, Siri... define irony".
Btw... if Apple comes out with a 512gb phone next week & I come here to hold my breath, stomp & shout, and demand that nobody buy that phone because I want it, but "only" have a 256gb model, and complain how mean & unfair Apple is for continuing their company even during the times that I'm not shopping for new products, PLEASE feel free to call me out & tell me I'm being ridiculous!

But how about white glass? Remember when Apple had huge troubles figuring how to make a proper white glass display bezel? They solved it, and with the next phone rumored to be all glass...

The bezel isn't white glass. It's clear glass with a white coating on the back.

OK, I will in the future.
