Pass. I subscribe to HBO and Netflix. I'm not even considering this till they produce something decent. Couldn't care less about magazines. I'll stick with Apple Music.

Oh Boy another TV subscription service, cutting edge circa 2010. This really is getting embarrassing. What's next A semi-smart home speaker? No wait, a self-driving car, no. I got it, An all in one Music and Video service that will manage all of your content seamlessly in the cloud and on your devices, No of course, Bringing overseas money back for bonuses, stock buybacks and maybe purchase some hungry real talent to introduce it to the Borg. Apple's real product talent, money manipulation.

How Apple didnt dominate this space a decade ago amases me. They just watched the rise of spotify and Netflix and did nothing. Actually worse than nothing, they purchased "beats".
Paying only $3 billion for beats was a steal, and an absolutely brilliant acquisition.

When Apple purchased beats 4 years ago, their estimated annual sales were $2 billion. Even with zero growth, Apple would have booked $8 billion by now. How much profit do you think there is in a $200-400 pair of headphones?

Apple paid $3 billion for Beats; they’ve made that back and probably pocketed another billion or two in profit already. In just 4 years. And that’s just from headphone sales.

Those that have a problem with the beats acquisition often are upset about rap, hip hop, the sound quality of beats headphones, Jimmy Iovine, Dr. Dre., or some combination theteof. None of which is relevant.

Add that to CBS. Another subscription service doomed to fail.

Nickle and dimeing customers to death might seem like a business model, but eventually people will add it all up and realizing they're just paying a different Comcast.

Only Steve Jobs Reality Distortion Field could make this work Timmy.

Most Pay TV shows on AMC, HBO and Netflix are appealing mainly to men.

Little Hulu had a hit with The Handmaids Tale that targets women and men.

Apple is targetting straight to women, and women are 50% of the population and are much less likely to pirate, in my opinion.
Thanks for the heads up. I’ll advise the numerous women I know who watch shows on AMC, HBO, and especially Netflix, that they are not watching shows targeted to them.
Seriously, do you have any data to support this assertion, or simply a subjective impression you have determined to be conclusive?

Apple will definitely launch this subscription bundle comprising original content (film, TV, episodes, branded channels), and it may include newscasts, sportscasts, podcasts, feature films, documentaries, series, episodes, AR/VR, esports. Just a question of when --
Apple Stream
MotionStream
MotionCast
Apple Cast

coming to the iPhone X near you.

Another subscription service is not something I need or want. But it doesn't matter what I need or want because we all know Apple is the one who decides what we get.

Don’t care about news or magazines or even original content.

Let me stream everything iTunes has to offer for one monthly price.

Apple Music as well as movies and TV shows...that’s what I want.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. Launch their version of Netflix, but include all of the iTunes content as well at a competitive price to drive competition.

Make it their version of Amazon Prime- include everything in a yearly price
