Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. ;-)

Really unsure of what was supposed to be revolutionary about this announcement. The nano looks nice, but it's a straightforward evolution of the iPod mini line. The phone we already knew about, and ultimately it's limited by its 100 song capacity. The idea of being able to get a song anytime, anywhere, made a lot of sense and presumably would have been relatively straightforward to implement, so I'm not sure why they didn't go in that direction.

Oh well. Nice updates, just not necessarily deserving of the hype.

It's been said a million times before, but no one seems to hear it, so I'll say it again:

THE NANO IS A MOCKUP. It was created for a contest BEFORE the Shuffle came out. It is NOT AN APPLE PROTOTYPE!

Good lord, people.

No such thing as a nano? really?

Someone noted that after a Monday holiday, the Tuesday updates is always bumped to Wednesday anyway. Not sure if that's true--but I know there have been other "late Tuesdays" in the past.

Your right about that. I've seen them too but I just wanted to say, "What did I tell ya?" 😀

This bit is interesting... "featured a pair of denim jeans and the caption "1000 songs in your pocket"...the jeans could be the biggest clue. You could fit a thin (flash based) iPod mini in your jeans.

...well, well the jeans thing was a clue!
