Nvidia drivers for 12Core? Anyone? Bueller?
Voodoo Economics?? Anyone??

They probably moved the date so Apple's news rides over the weekend, to block some of the Samsung Galaxy Tab (Android Tablet) news coming on the 3rd.

This is at least one more time that Sammy doesn't need a Jobs helper! -RJ

Thats either a Taylor or a Gibson.

Actually, that bridge is the Martin style, not the Taylor or Gibson.
That said, a good portion of other guitar makers use the Martin style, as it's the most classic and standard acoustic guitar bridge.

The picture makes me wonder if it’s “just” iPods (which are the biggest news anyway). If so, a new AppleTV may still be a true rumor, but might see a more quiet release and not be part of this presentation.

Well, so much for my predictions. I guessed that the event would be Tuesday the 14th!

Hey, maybe the Beatles discography will show up in the iTunes Store!

:p

I don't care if there are commercials, if they rent for .99 cents, I want it.

No more cable for me. I cancelled it a few months ago and I refuse to be chained again. If I can pick some of the programs I like and can't get with a cheap antena, I am going for it.

Steve, pls figure out a way for live sports, work your magic.

Netflix may have enough instant play (even more after buying the rights from MGM and Paramount last month). I am warming up to Hulu Plus, I am all set. I am willing to pay for what I want, but I don't like being taken for a ride by the cable companies.

I am only interested about a new ipod nano. I would really want to replace my 5 gen nano as I didn't enjoy it very much. The clic wheel is too small for me.

I want a touch ipod nano please!

I think we will be a little disappointed...

I am getting the feeling there will be no iTV announcement made just yet. Possibly because they couldn't get agreements with NBC and CBS on rentals. The guitar invite indicates to expect a music related event. Plus, the rumors are that they are still trying to figure out which apps should be loaded on the device (iTV specific or all iOS apps). I think we will only see new iPod touches and maybe a device to replace both the nano and shuffle-maybe the iPod micron? Garageband may be ported to iPad, and Apple will showcase iOS 4.1 and launch it accross all devices in September. That's all!

How long after the event can we expect to see new iPods/Macs in the wild? Will it be a same day sort of deal, or will it take maybe a week or so for Apple Stores to get stock in? Hopefully I can pick up an iPod Touch the same day :)

Omg, Apple iGuitars!

A hint towards how music instruments and hardware can interface with the 30 pin dock?
I would have thought the slight easing up in secrecy/stranglehold on the Made for iPod group might be an indication. Anyhow, whatever happens, there are some companies under NDA for 3rd party hardware to interact with iPods/iPhones/Touchs

Well, there goes my bet on this keynote being partly about sports related goodies... ;)

Show us the 64 bit iTUNES!!!
