Let's start managing expectations. If we are playing the invite-image analysis game, there probably will be no iTV-related announcement.
If I were betting, I'd say this is just new iPod touches, maybe an iPod touch nano, iLife 11.

I'm with you. I'm cutting cable after the NFL season is over. I have to wait since I have no line of sight to the network towers and no antenna will work, regardless of size.
Guess I was wrong about the date too (other than it not being on the 9th when I really meant to say 11th) which I was right about. Bring on the new iPod touch!!!! Also 64 bit iTunes would be good as I am on Win 7 64 bit.
Yep, I'm betting the date was moved up (from September 7, the rumored date, and more traditional Tuesday) because of Samsung's forthcoming Galaxy Tab on September 2 (not September 3). I'm further betting that the iPad "mini" (or whatever the hell Apple calls it) will be announced on September 1.

They already have agreements for those networks. Sure, maybe they couldn't get them to sell their stuff for 99 cents, but why wait on that? If they got competitors for CBS & NBC to play ball, the pressure to compete would be on for CBS & NBC to match them. Waiting for all to be in at 99 cents seems pointless if they got a few of the majors on board. Let buying action motivate price concessions from the hold outs.
I don't know. I'm not an iPad developer, so I don't get any iPad dev news directly from Apple.
Apple doesn't issue public betas though, that much I know.
I would totally buy that guitar. I could use an acoustic anyways. Hmm, but it they made some sort of Apple Telecaster, that'd be even better.

Why would they combine iTV and iPods? It would confuse their message. Do iPod event, then iTV and other events separately later for maximum impact.

So separate from iTunes, cable, Uverse, and satellite, what's the best way (app) to automatically find and download new TV episodes? TED? TVshows?
Steve should give away (with a $69 "donation") an official Steve Jobs plush with every AppleTV/iTV to entice people to buy it.
We might see iTunes X, iLife, new iPod Touch 4 and new iPod Nano. Thats all folks.

I can't wait! I've been waiting for so long to buy a new touch! It's even better now, since September 1st is my first day of school and I don't have to be there until around 12, so I can see most of the event before then.
