The audacity to be pointing fingers at anybody else about anything when they have this liquid glass vomit interface they rolled out … is quite something.
I can see how the Liquid Glass is something you don't like, and might make the controls a bit harder for you to use. Have you ever tried navigating the Blue screen of Death, it's nearly impossible to use, almost like it's completely unresponsive.

Could be the cheaper version of Macbook without camera?
That'd be cool. No notch! But... it doesn't appear to be using Liquid Glass, and surely any new model is going to have to use 26.* or later when it ships?

Windows is as unstable now as it was back then. I found it mostly due to drivers not playing nice with Windows.

Aye. MacOS has become as unstable as Windows.😅😅 I miss the svelte, reliable MacOS of years past; the Big Cat OS was extremely stable. Today's MacOS is as stable as a drunken Irishman.🙃
Mousse, put your glasses back on and stop your nonsense.

Apple doesn't have the software quality to poke fun of Windows anymore. If it's not even yet, give it a few years of continued degradation

There's no such thing as the blue screen of death in Windows anymore

Also, the Mac equivalent is a kernel panic. I see those a few times a year

That's because they've been copying MicroSoft's playbook from when MS was the big dog: big splashy updates instead of steady improvements. Back in the day, OSX got better and more stable with each iteration. Now it's all about features, features, features. I call them bugs, but pot-may-toes / pot-mah-toes.😙

Apple needs to go back to how they used to be--"matriculate down the field" with the updates.

It was a joke about how “not liking a style” is not as bad as a “system failure”. Because the OP was saying “how can apple mock the blue screen of death, when i don't like the style of the new LiquidGlass”

The issue is not about Apple having the temerity to mock a competitor like Microsoft. The issue is that the paralyzing Crowdstrike BSoD failure happened well over a year ago and quickly receded into memory, making this long form video a mostly meaningless and expensive exercise. It does have its moments, and is better than the Thailand ad, which came out in summer 2024. Both were probably done around the same time with the same budget and cast. Sometimes timing is everything.

Ah remember when someone could get root access on High Sierra with no password.

Must be nice to have software where the attack vector is peanuts compared to Windows being ran in every conceivable enterprise scenario.
