Been using both Windows and Mac OS for over 3 decades now, and never have I had the BSOD. I've never had a pc virus either. I have had annoyances with both OS's though.
49% of windows users are on 11, that means 51% of windows users are on previous ones… 😉That’s funny, because it’s now black: https://www.theverge.com/news/704536/microsoft-windows-11-black-screen-of-death-bsod-now-available
Also, there’s no particular relation between BSOD and security.
Windows is as unstable now as it was back then. I found it mostly due to drivers not playing nice with Windows.Whether intentionally or not, Apple still often portrays Windows as the unstable system it was last century,
Aye. MacOS has become as unstable as Windows.😅😅 I miss the svelte, reliable MacOS of years past; the Big Cat OS was extremely stable. Today's MacOS is as stable as a drunken Irishman.🙃when it's basically just as reliable as macOS these days.
Yeah … mocking competitors is just not a good look for big, powerful companies. In my book, it only ever works for underdogs (reference not intended) and Apple is absolutely the opposite of that.
The John Hodgman campaign was probably the last time that made sense for Apple. (I guess the 1984 commercial was the first one.)
Oh, that looks just like it did on my G4 Mini.
I remember last year, with the Crowdstrike outage, that all the PC's in my Hospital, went to the blue screen of death. Windows 11 maybe here, but most Multi Nationals don't upgrade quickly. Not unusual to be on the previous OS still.outdated already
its black screen of death now
Too many sad ones frequent here, not living in the moment, getting angst about everything. It demonstrated many things that Apple does well, and how it can be used in the corporate world, and highlighted the one issue that frequents pc's, and that's all the viruses, malware and conflicting software/firmware issues. It's cool. Totally Apple with a lot of funny moments.
Or possibly too young.Hmm. Maybe I’m just too old to notice the humour.
I think it was cute, hilarious at times, and to the point. Although I did wonder what they were doing with the Mac they gave them, and how they got them running there things on it.Me, it's funny and entertaining!

AdGPT, newly developed for Apple Marketing. The Large Ad Model Extension was only trained on TV commercials from the 90’s … will be expanded to include internet ads once the necessary 35 data centers being built in Qatar go online in 2029.This is such a tired and worn out AD concept in 2025
Who is making these decisions?
