I guess it'll have to be refined, but I di appreciate seeing some useful functionality being added.
I don't want to use 2 different streMing services, and I have been with apple music since 2020.
I have countless playlists and I actually use the icloud library functionality to add my tracks.

I feel alone on this next statement: when I intentionally play a song in Music, and then allow the algorithm to select subsequent songs afterward, I have been very pleased with what was selected and that I have discovered. YMMV, but for me, it has proven incredibly helpful for music discovery.

How is this different?
"Stations" created from songs I start are near perfect (for about 40 minutes until it gets repetitive). This... is trash.

I’m surprised at the variability of responses here. I’ve been trying it out this morning, and it’s absolutely crushing it in terms of recommendations -- but I spend a decent amount of time telling Siri what songs I like and don’t like — so maybe it’s a function of how much like/dislike data you’ve provided?

Same, I'm diligent about 'loving' and disliking tracks on stations, and adding them to playlists as appropriate. My 'Made For You' playlists are good most weeks, and this new Discovery Station is almost exclusively good stuff.

I tried it out this morning on my commute. It was pretty accurate, lol. I even discovered Kirk Hammett from Metallica put a out a solo project to my delight. So I guess it's working for me. I felt like it played like 50% from my own library. The rest from Apple Music based on whatever algorithm it used to curate the music to my listening pattern.

So far, it seems to play some songs from My Library, as well as a few that aren't. Not sure how this is different from My Station with the red image on it yet...

Tangential: I like Apple Music, but it has a bad habit of replacing specific versions of songs I added to a playlist, with different versions of the same song. Then I have a hard time finding the version I chose originally, or (worse), it plays the explicit version of a DMX song during a family get together.
Similar Tangent... Ask Apple Music to play an entire album (e.g. Exile on Main Street) and it starts substituting Live/Alternate versions of the songs... NO!!! I want to hear "THE ALBUM", as it was released!!

Apple Music has always been incredible for me, literally from day one. It's known my musical tastes so well that I've been discovering new music from the day Apple Music launched. I know that this isn't the same experience for everyone. If I had to guess, it's because I had been an avid user of iTunes, having ripped my CDs and purchased music from the early days of the iPod. 15 years of play history had to have counted for something.
This sounds nice, but I beg to differ. I have at least as much experience with iTunes (and iTunes Match) for many years now and I've been using Apple Music for several months now, with no sense at all that it knows or cares about my taste. (and Apple ought to know everything about it with that much data on me.) All I see are playlists curated by someone promoting super mainstream stuff. I'm cautiously excited about this feature even though I can't seem to find it in the app, because it seems to be similar to Spotify's "Discovery Weekly" playlist which is so good at knowing what I like to listen to that it's often the only thing I listen to every week, for a decade or something now. (I also listen to the playlists they make for friends of mine with great taste.) I'm very eclectic in taste and don't mind hearing a few songs I can skip quickly, but I know there is constantly tons of great stuff being released in more "indy" genres and that's what I want to hear, almost NEVER the latest pop hits that roll off the garbage truck for mass consumption which is all I see in AM. I won't even get into how horribly buggy the app is constantly. The Apple Music team needs the most help out of any at Apple, IMO. At least they just now offered me another free 3 month subscription so I'll stay to see if it improves.

This has been a common complaint about iTunes Match for years now. People will be playing their favorite album only to find tracks substituted from other productions/versions. This behavior has been unsolved for many years now, and it's sad to see it's worked it's way into Apple Music's **** logic too.

When I next subscribe, looking forward to testing this out.

Spotify has always been leagues ahead with music discovery, with Apple seemingly relying a lot more on human curation (and what often seems like payola to insert tracks into my 'For You').

Apple nailed it!!!! They finally beat Spotify here. For me anyway. This playlist has been amazing for 2 days straight, and I have eclectic taste.

It annoys me so much that I can’t remove the browse and radio tabs from my app. I would far rather that go to albums and playlists. I have never once gone to either of those on purpose after my first glance.

Has not appeared for me yet. Just new artwork for My Name Station.
Same here - checked multiple devices and every playlist section under Listen Now and Browse, no show yet.
Search doesn’t result in anything remotely the same, and as others mentioned Siri doesn’t recognize.
Devices all at latest public release.
I’ll be happy to try it once I have access.

Have either of you tried quitting and relaunching the app? Not sure if it will work, but it's worth a try. Good luck!
