I don't know where you came from, but we're thankful to have you - don't ever leave us.
It looks like Apple Music api finally can be accessed, there's also another music app alternative in beta testing on iOS which is Soor (https://soor.app) which can do nice things on iOS
Apple was believed to be potentially working on an Apple Music web player over the summer…
So ridiculous that Apple's customers have to craft up some hack to just play music on their PC…
One developer made a beautiful web app in about a month while a 1000+ team of world-class developers and 3.5 years in a multi-billion dollar company didn't bother to do anything.
Apple isn't interested in doing web-things because the web is open and platform independent. They are afraid of losing their grip on their garden.
So ridiculous that Apple's customers have to craft up some hack to just play music on their PC ― are they taking this music thing seriously? Or is this part of the "Apple tax"
Cease and desist or hired/bought in 3....2.....1....
Even if we give him the benefit of the doubt and assume no ill intent - his website could be hacked to show a fake login popup that's harvesting users credentials.
Then just get Wireshark (or whatever that program is LTT has been paid to promote) and see who you’re connecting to when it prompts you to loginexactly. because as you say folks don't always read or think. my own neighbor, who claims to be really good with computers, fell for one of those 'you have a virus' popups and gave some random phone guy his credit card number
So those complaining about work restrictions blaming Apple for not catering to them... seriously? If your online behavior is locked down that much then all online usage is monitored and logged. Is there a policy about streaming services, at my job those are blocked by URL policy. Goth kids gotta love’emSo the question that clearly drives many of these comments is: Who is the target audience? Why would anyone event want this?
I am; I want this!
For reasons which I will not explain, I am not permitted to use my cell phone at work. I also (for obvious reasons) do not have the option of installing software on my Windows box at work. That means that -- until now -- Apple couldn't actually serve my music habit via their existing services.
Only problem is, the website uses Apple's standard two-factor authentication service. On the surface, this seems like an obvious and appropriate security-first extension of their existing policies... the problem is, if I can't use my cell phone in my office and I don't have an Apple computer on my desktop either, than I can't actually respond to the two factor authentication. The very problem which would have been solved in the first place by having one of those two devices available to me is likewise made impossible to solve in this fashion, by their absence.
So, ummmm... Back to square one?
