I do hope Apple will add useful AI features for personalized playlists, among other things.

For example: "Siri, play relaxing songs with lyrics in English and Japanese with no heavy bass."
This is exactly what I want: smart incorporation of language into the algorithms.

I have curated playlists by language (Spanish, French, and German), and at the end of a manual playlist (but not a smart playlist) it'll have recommendations for additional songs that are pretty good and relevant to that playlist, both by language and by style. But I've done the language curation by hand. If I ask Siri to play some German music that I'll like, it plays crap in German that bears no relation to my tastes.

How about giving uses the chance to reset their music choice algorithm?. Mines utterly broken at this point and nothing short of having a new Apple profile will permit it to create desirable suggested music .

Does this work?

I played the Energy one today and was pleasantly surprised. Pulled stuff from my library but also other appropriate songs.

It doesn't "know" but based on the information it has, it ought to be able to make a better-than-random guess. I understood that it is just supposed to start playing something after what you choose is over, and if you don't like it, just skip.
You're right, I'm just going to skip. Apple music, that is…

Played alot of the Energy and Feel Good lists today and liked both alot, and I'm picky about my music. I'm at work using a web browser and it doesn't show the actual playlist somehow and neither ended. Can't tell if it's a finite number of songs.

...

If you consider AC/DC to be elevator music, that must be one fun elevator ride! 🤣
Well... the music I used to listen to in my misspent youth make AC/DC sound like a Disney musical. 😛

Once in my father's nursing home I heard a muzak instrumental version of Love Will Tear Us Apart by Joy Division.
 You know you're old when your youth anthems are played in elevators in nursing homes (and apart from anything, you'd think they'd find a more uplifting song for a nursing home).

Does this work?

Yeah, that will work if you will be OK with deleting your profile and then all of your playlists .sure start from scratch that way. But I’m talking about is resetting the choices that have been generated for you on things like new music Friday for example. In my case, if you like classical music, it’s a mishmash of things that come across on that thing so it becomes very cumbersome and useless after a while.
