Anyone think they will introduce an Apple Care+ plan with accidental damage along with the refresh?

I think that the other year they brought out new iMacs while the promo was still on ..but it didn't include the recently refreshed iPods that happened around the same time , if I remember correctly ?
I own the air
I hope you're not about to start charging licensing fees.
Your argument is extremely weak. That is like saying that Ferrari needs to slash the prices of their cars in half to be "price-competitive".
Your welcomeCool, the first thing was what I was looking for and the terms suggest that the eligible iPods are restricted, whilst computers are basically "any computer", which is good news.

Your argument is extremely weak. That is like saying that Ferrari needs to slash the prices of their cars in half to be "price-competitive". Says who? You? I think companies like Ferrari (and Apple) are running their businesses just fine without your "advice". There's no rule that says you have to sell your products cheap. Ever heard of phrases such as "perceived value" or "what the market will bear"?
Obviously many of us believe that it is totally worth the additional $1400, or maybe even more. You couldn't pay me to buy an HP running Windows these days. Even if someone gave me an HP running Vista as a gift, I would turn around and sell it and use the money towards the purchase of another Mac.
I would gladly say that to anyone's face.
Your welcomebut are you sure it's "any computer" ? .
I haven't looked but was fairly sure from the other year I did look that the mini was excluded ...
FFS, PLEEEEEASE update the Mac Mini.
C'MON!
9to5 Mac is saying that there will be a "Brick of some sort at this event'...what is 'the Brick'?
