Southern Poverty Law Center Transfers Millions in Cash to Offshore Entities

The SPLC's Form 8865, a Return of U.S. Persons With Respect to Certain Foreign Partnerships, from 2014 shows that the nonprofit transferred hundreds of thousands to an account located in the Cayman Islands.

The nonprofit pushed millions more into offshore funds at the beginning of 2015.

"The SPLC states it has a staff of 75 lawyers who practice in the area of children's rights, economic justice, immigrant justice, LGBT rights, and criminal justice reform, but reported spending only $61,000 on legal services in 2015. However, the group spent $20 million on salaries in 2015 with the minimum amount paid to an officer, director, trustee, or key employee in 2015 was $140,000 in base salary, not including other compensation. The president and chief executive officer was given $346,218 in base compensation and $20,000 more in other reportable compensation and non-taxable benefits in 2015 and SPLC's chief trial counsel, received a salary of $329,560 with $42,000 in additional reportable compensation and non-taxable benefits."

And Apple wants people to donate to them in itunes.

61K on legal services vs 20 million on salaries

sounds a bit fishy to me

SPLC has to be an FBI COINTELPRO front. This info about the SPLC has been circulating in public for a decade and it's getting worse every year yet they do not lose access to their tax free status nor do the corporate media ignore them as a source.

Perhaps when Tibet is in America? Apple has never tended to get involved in foreign political situations.

Except when Apple gets blamed how Foxconn pays its workers.

This is what Germany does to Nazis. They ban symbols and rhetoric in public. US should do the same with confederate flags/monuments and nazi flags. Germany doesn't celebrate its dark past or its culture, it makes sure children know that their dark past is seen as Dark

I've been in Poland to a concentration camp as a tourist attraction. It's not used as entertainment but as a reminder of what happened in the past and to educate.

Tucker Carlson did a fantastic summary of the SPLC the other night (1:40):

It's worth explaining how the process of banning ideas work, the means by which so many voices have already been silenced in this modern era.

The first step is defining political disagreement as a mortal threat to the country, something that's dangerous. That's the job of a group called the Southern Poverty Law Center. It's an organization whose name intentionally masks its role as an enforcer for the Democratic establishment. Groups or individuals who challenge the official story on virtually ANY subject, find themselves designated a hate group by the SPLC. This is a handy way to crush your political enemies. By definition, hate groups don't have legitimate ideas or positions, they only spew hate. So you don't have to listen to them or debate their claims, you could ignore everything they say; your only duty is to suppress them.

That's the beauty of the SPLC. Once they call the people you disagree with a hate group, you can move immediately to shut them up by force. That's what they do.

Tim Cook's Apple:
✅ Politicize Apple to fund a scam charity Democrat Super PAC under the guise of stopping hate.
❌ Fix 4 years of broken keyboards.
[doublepost=1552601906][/doublepost]

They are trying to distract from the more serious scandal of what they really do. They really don't want to lose their "charity" designation. They'd cease to be such an easy operating proxy for the Democratic party if that happened.

I'm not able to see how you could conflate the Confederate south with Nazi Germany. Perhaps you should study this a bit.

5 min rundown on the SPLC:

The Southern Poverty Law Center claims it protects us from "hate groups". But it's a scam… a money grabbing slander machine
  • The SPLC Lists groups it simply dislikes the politics of next to historically-known hate groups to create an association.
  • Banks and other institutions use this libelous association to deny services.
  • Nutjobs have used this association to attack and attempt murder of some on the SPLC list.
  • The SPLC lied about its fundraising goals multiple times.
  • Claiming authority on all things hate is a never-ending racket.
  • The SPLC lists "extremists" such as ex-Islamists who've renounced their past and sleepy Dr Ben Carson. Both were removed only after lawsuits or intense public pressure.
What a fantastic "charity" Apple helped fund.

3/22 update on the SPLC, Apple's preferred Democrat SuperPAC faux-charity:

Southern Poverty Law Center chief Richard Cohen announces resignation amid internal upheaval

‘Highly Profitable Scam’: Southern Poverty Law Center ‘Ripping Off Donors,’ Former Staffer Says
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is a “highly profitable scam” that “never lived up to the values it espoused,” according to former SPLC staffer Bob Moser.

What is happening? Their overseas money games finally catching up to them?

Apple's brand is forever tainted by their association with this scam. Tim Cook is now like 0/20 when it comes to politics.

Cook ordered that donation about a week or so after I bought my 2017 iMac. I seriously thought about returning the machine and making do with my late 2012 machine until it died. I went back to the store and struck up a conversation with one of the store personnel and I learned that I wasn't the only one displeased; a percentage of the staff was not happy, and apparently I wasn't the only customer who brought it up.

Steve had the right idea: build cool stuff that we don't even realize we need until we see it working, and stay out of politics. Tim should go back to what he's good at, which is managing numbers.

I'm wondering if Forstall has gotten over his excommunication and learned what he needed to learn to come back and lead this company. Otherwise its going to coast on inertia for a few years and then veer off into a ravine. I don't see anyone else who could do it.

I’ve been saying this here since Cook made this idiotic donation. Totallly intellectually bankrupt, ethically misguided and a waste of Apple’s well earned reputation and PR clout. Further the left opposition in Charlottesville was entirely dirty and share the blame for the riot and chaos that ensued.

The liberal media outlets went full blame the right, and ignored the obvious and damning facts about their own partisan team members. A lot of morons went off half cocked and it was incredibly sad to see Cook in that dim mob. The need for corporate virtue signaling short circuited logic, Cook paid some shifty lawyers at the SPLC for a white knight costume, and waded into a complex situation he didn’t bother to understand, dragging Apple’s corporate rep with them. He funded a corrupt hate group for some dopey notion he was a civil rights warrior.

However I remain brilliantly insightful, unencumbered by the cheap partisan chattering that clouds the thoughts of these foolish earthlings. I’d continue to stroke my own ego, but I set aside Fridays for this and it takes some time to warm up the 50 gallon drum of ego lotion to the appropriate god application temperature.

PS. Forstall? He doesn’t need to return until the YouTube app needs a TV icon again.

SPLC update, a recent headline from MacDailyNews citing a recent New Yorker reveal:

Apple-backed Southern Poverty Law Center wracked in turmoil, called a ‘con’ for ‘bilking gullible liberals’

MacDailyNews said:
…SPLC [was] questionable long before these recent resignations…

…In a nutshell, Cook literally funded inequality and disrespect in the name of Apple Inc.

MacDailyNews said:
We’re pretty sure that Steve Jobs did not intend for Apple to be turned into a personal soapbox for whoever happens to be occupying in the CEO’s office at the moment.

Did Apple ever disclose how many iTunes customer donations went to the scam? Will those iTunes customers be reimbursed?

3/30 update: "[SPLC has] systemic problems with racism and sexism" say multiple employees.
But one of the employees who spoke to CNN alleged the [SPLC] suffers from a "pervasive racist culture" and an environment in which a woman is not seen or heard. She also said qualified African-American employees were regularly passed over for promotions -- including one African-American colleague she describes as brilliant. She added, "My boss only hires white people."

According to the rules set by liberals, Apple supports white supremacy until they disavow the SPLC and refund their customers.

4/8 update from Wash Po:
Like other media outlets, we generally parroted SPLC press releases. We also became friends with SPLC staffers, occasionally attending the center’s parties. Some of my reporters dated staffers at the center.

Parroted. No verification of facts, no care for truth. SPLC and the media who helped build them are a joke.
