Will I be able to select in store pickup when actually preordering? Last year under IUP I had to spend weeks on the phone when fedex lost my trade in device, hoping to do it all in store this time around but also just got the preapproval for the IUP loan doing the pre pre order…
No you cannot trade in a phone under contract, the carriers will flag the device as still under a contract because part of the activation process validates that portion, also during the trade in process when they scan The Imei and SN it will show up that‘s still locked.
Check your carrier though, depending on who you have, you can upgrade early of course at which once you buy a new one they will want your old one back or you can just pay off the remaining balance And hope it’s not too much BUT In my girlfriends case she can upgrade already but since she’s more than halfway through her contract she can just pay off the last two payments with the taxes ahead for example. Call your carrier For details though they can let you know and guide you for a better smoother process since upgrade eligibility on some accounts take hours or days to open up really!

It works online as well, I just don't know if I should do it now and go through the Apple Card application now as well, I just mainly need to know if I have to pay anything from my bank to the Apple Card when I purchase or just before the end of the billing cycle?

Evidently, since the back glass of my iPhone 12 Pro is cracked it can only be recycled. So much for the pre-pre-order for me.
Ok so they charged your debt card the first month now? And you set up to pay with the Apple Card Monthly payments?
does it matter if I select "Connect to any carrier later" even though I will port from Metro to AT&T next week? will I have any issues with unlocking and activating iphone 14 Pro on AT&T?
I will submit an AT&T order to port two iphone 7 plus from Metro and add this new iphone 14 Pro ( 3 lines) and will configure AT&T order with 3 SIM cards for 3 lines. I would use only 2 SIM since iphone 14 Pro does not use SIM. So that I have the SIM cards ready next week.

Oh ok thanks, i was mainly looking for those who used the Apple Card monthly payments, but thanks for this note that they do charge something when it is ordered
yeah - what's strange about this is that they already created the installment plans in my apple card wallet view, and they did charge ~$150 for each phone that i ordered right away.
which kind of makes me wonder, what happens if i oversleep and/or never place the order? it seems a lot to pre-load when i've not actually ordered anything.
edit and @stingazg for both phones they did a check to see if there was enough credit available to cover the whole phone. they deduct the whole amount of the phone purchase price from your available credit. as you make payments i think the amount being held goes down by the monthly payment.

how do you get that price, i'm only seeing 370 for 11 pro max on my end
ok this is a good note, see my biggest thing is I wont have an apple device until I get my iPhone so I don't want to miss a payment just in case there is a delay in shipping
