Every refurb mac that I’ve purchased has always looked brand new. Aside from QC issues, do people recieve units with obvious wear and tear?

A refurbished 16-inch MacBook Pro with ‌M1 Max‌ chip, 10-core CPU, 32-core GPU, and 1TB SSD, which is the base high-end ‌M1 Max‌, is priced at $3,149, a savings of $350 over the standard $3,499 price.

Yesterday I ordered the same MBP 16 with M1 max, 32gb ram, and 1 TB ssd new from Costco for $2599 ($2890 with tax) and 4 year warranty... Don't know why people bother with refurbished anymore.

$3,449.99 - 350.00 - 500.00 (Shop card promo) = $2,599.99
