Plaid matches everything! The problem with 3rd party ANYTHING is they tend to be a bit off in terms of color matching to the main product.

I’m aware I own them. Thin soft lamb skin. Point is Apple is not overpricing these. For perspective, it’s B&O ... AND they are made of soft lambskin.
This is not unreasonable. Have you ever tried to buy replacement pads for your Focal or Sennheiser HD800S?
Apple isn't making them.....I wish Sony would offer official original replacement cushions for my MDR-1As. I paid 20 Euros for cheap knock offs that look and feel like trash. No way Apple is making these for $5.
I thought this is for fashion or novelty, do ear pads really wear out and need to be replaced??This is not unreasonable. Have you ever tried to buy replacement pads for your Focal or Sennheiser HD800S?
Next? With the Apple Card the AirPods Max are interest free for 6 month ✨ stupid price? yes, but don’t forget to add AppleCare+ for another $59! Love mineI'll join the party. Stupid price. Apple is taking this toooooooo far. But it fits right in with the "$49.99" printer and then ink that costs $59.99 for replacement ink cartridges.
Next will be a subscription plan to get new AirPods Max. Just $19.99 per month for the next 3 years!
The problem with 3rd party ANYTHING is they tend to be a bit off in terms of color matching to the main product. A bit off in terms of the build quality against the originals and the fit and finish aren't always satisfactory. They tend to have that "knockoff look and feel".
I own a pair and I think they are phenomenal. Not a problem that it doesn’t have an off button as the battery drain is negligible. Just mine up after a week and they still had almost a full charge. Like a lot of controversial decisions Apple makes (removing CD drives, headphone jacks, etc.), people will eventually figure out that Apple only does such things after tons of research. Having had these for about a month, I’ve never thought, “Damn. I wish these had an off button.” Its just not necessary.Airpods max must be the worst product apple has launched for years...The fact that they did not implement a switch-off button or sth causes extreme battery -draining...
What about the sweat issues I keep reading about? That just sounds nastyI own a pair and I think they are phenomenal. I just received my Silver APM from Amazon for $447. There have been a number of these Used/Like New or Very Good units available from Amazon--you just have to keep checking. My pair is absolutely pristine. To be honest, they don't seem that badly priced for an Apple product. If a watch strap is worth $50... /shrug
I'd be interested in buying a pair if I finally get a used set of cans at a discount. I will justifying the new cups as not using something that has sat on someone else's ears lol.
I dunno, kinda suspicious that only the Left one is pictured..
