Not worth it when iTunes cards are frequently available for 15-20% off.

I disagree, if you are short on card funds, waiting for the sales can be hit or miss. 10 percent is 10 percent more that I had before I purchased the offer.

costco isn't the only place that occasionally has 15% or more off of iTunes cards.[/QUOTE

I personally don't do business with PayPal. Bitter memories of issues past.

I don't think so. When I did it I hoped to use ApplePay, but it defaulted to the card I had set up to cover iTunes purchases, and didn't give me an option to choose something different.

I doesn't for me. I'm the primary, and I get the emailed receipts whenever someone on my family plan buys something, but my balance only goes down when I buy something under my own account.

Thanks. It doesn’t make sense that apple doesn’t let you use Apple Pay to directly add funds. Guess I’ll stick to buying gift cards.

Seems like it could be a test for loading cash at some level of scale...

Something like that. It was super easy. So I just made $20 with about three minutes of taping (had to read the instructions a couple of times since I wasn't seeing the right link). Since they are taking this from a credit card, I also just got 200 points on that card (which is basically another $2). And I have enough subscriptions that this amount of credit won't last all that long.

Since we know Apple doesn't suddenly need the cash, then they must be doing this as some sort of test like you say. Weird though.

I did this last year and when I went in now to look it says I have $217.03 credit. I have an iCloud storage subscription and I purchased Robokiller in the past year but they aren't using my $220 credit. They're just charging more to my credit card.

Sounds like it would be worth your time to contact Apple to figure out why this is happening. It’s my understanding that store credit is used before credit/debit cards, so I’m curious why this isn’t happening for you.
