I'm waiting for the "pro" gatekeepers to be like, "wheels like this that are used for your business are absolutely worth it. If you don't make $$$ with your Mac Pro, this product isn't for you." I don't care how beautiful these casters are, they're way overpriced. More evidence that Apple really has lost its way. At half the price, they would still be overpriced.

Wowsers. That's pretty funny. OTOH, Apple is also taking care of the low end pretty well with things like the new MBA. I think the philosophy at Apple is to create a spread so people can get a decent price on something high quality, but also spend an obscene amount of money, too. Everyone wins. 😉

$$$$$ ! Seriously?? Maybe if I could rely on Apple's quality like the old days. But I have really grown weary of all the mediocre products being released by them lately.

4 of these 19"ers cost less... but guess they would look ridiculous on my Mac Pro

Epic.

They really outclassed themselves, more than whoever buys this cash grab.

Well done Tim.

Their prices for accessories are getting insane.

i am really starting to wonder how long before Apple is truly pricing itself out giving the changing economy and upcoming crisis

This is pretty clever. It’s like saying, $400 for wheels when ordering is a great price. bet they never sell any of these, but make money from people upgrading to the wheels when buying a new MacPro.

I want the price for the wheelbarrow configuration!; two feet on the front, two wheels on the back. It would solve the rolling problem haha.

Add wheels to the back, feet to the front, and a handle on front top to make it a Mac Pro wheel barrow.

It as absolutely worth charging $700 for these wheels just to get a rise out of you lot, no question.

Somewhere in the Bay Area right now Phil Schiller is saying with glee to Tim Cook over FaceTime, “Hey Tim, watch this!” with a link to this forum thread.
