Apple has announced its annual four-day shopping event, offering customers up to a $200 Apple Store gift card with the purchase of select products between Black Friday and Cyber Monday in the United States.

Apple has yet to reveal the full terms for its offer. Last year, most Macs came with a $200 gift card, while previous-generation iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch models were eligible for a $50 gift card. HomePod and Beats were also eligible for a $50 gift card, while the Apple TV was bundled with a $25 gift card.

Last year, the offer excluded the latest iPhone, iPad Pro, and Apple Watch models, as well as refurbished products, products purchased with an educational discount, and iPhones purchased via the iPhone Upgrade Program. AirPods, special edition Beats, and then-new MacBook Air and Mac mini models also did not qualify.

Apple's four-day shopping event runs November 29 through December 2 on Apple.com, by phone at 1-800-APPLE, and at Apple Stores.

The offer will also be available in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, the Netherlands, Sweden, and several other countries, with gift card amounts varying.

As usual, there are better Black Friday deals on Apple products than what Apple offers itself, so be sure to check out our Black Friday roundup this week for all of the best discounts leading up to the big day. We'll also be highlighting various one-off deals throughout the week.

Update: As noted by MacGeneration, Apple is offering iTunes gift cards instead of Apple Store gift cards in some countries, such as France, Germany, and Switzerland.

Does anyone know if they will give the gift cards for purchases through military and veterans Apple Store?

I am in need of a new Apple TV 4K, and really trying to hold out for a refresh but it doesn't look they'll be one for a while, so might as well get a little gift card if there is usually one with it.

Edit: No UK retailer is selling them at any discount for Black Friday (yet).

Apple is not the place to shop on Black Friday. Amazon and Best Buy have been heavily discounting Apple’s latest products. For example, the AirPods Pro are currently $234.99 at Amazon. Other companies are just providing better discounts.

That applies all year basically unless it’s bto or just hard to find. But no free Atv+ with any purchase? I’m shocked.

What sucks is that you just have to buy your products from somewhere else. And what sucks even more is that they Only price match their products up to 10%.

Yeah Apple website is not the place to expect any savings on black friday, best buy is your best bet...I just bought a 4 series stainless steel apple watch 2 weeks ago for $379 from their website, over $300 off! now thats a sale.

I sure wouldnt call it an "event" Apple. The fact that a lot of the eligible stuff is previous year models is just sort of sad. The image Apple creates for itself because of all this nickel and diming to maximize their profits and also very sad.

Im not seeing this in the article. Can you point it out?

Well, based on precedent anyway. Apple has yet to reveal specific details for this year's offer.

Last year, the offer excluded the latest iPhone, iPad Pro, and Apple Watch models, as well as refurbished products, products purchased with an educational discount,
