Sure, they'll just do a credit check and verify your income to make sure you can afford for one. You’ll need to sign an NDA, of course, and put down a deposit. But other than that you’re good to go. 🤪will the lowly rabble be able to get a demo?

Blurrily. How do they demo to people that require a prescription lense?
With demo lenses? They may not be able to have every combination of power and astigmatism, but I'm sure they'll have dozens of different options. And they could probably get away with having some lenses in just 0.5 power increments instead of having every 0.25 increment. There will be some wiggle room as the Vision Pro is fixed focus. How do they demo to people that require a prescription lense?
It’s Apple’s magical way of saying a small number without saying a small number. What does “select customers” mean 🙄🙄
Funniest thing I’ve read this year. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣Cant wait to try buy, try, and return it!
Don’t feel bad. All the YouTubers do this 😎
Apple should be demoing this thing now, not February. In advance just like they did with Apple Watch. I get they have had almost daily demos in their labs (there’s one in Battersea, London for example) but these have been for developers and journalists only. It’s like they have forgotten the actual consumer in all of this. There will definitely be a huge rush to try this out in stores. Expecting the spots not to be available for the initial few days/weeks due to the demand.
The sad thing is I already use a dongle like this on my Steam Deck since the USB-C port is on the top

Or just try before you buy regardless. Your life isn’t going to end because you’re not a day-1 adopter.Apple should be demoing this thing now, not February. If you don't know.... then you're not selected 🤣What does “select customers” mean 🙄🙄
I hope they do something like this - very few glasses wearers are going to drop $100 on the inserts (and wait weeks to receive them) just to demo it. I am wondering if near-sighted people such as myself wouldn't need them, though. With demo lenses? Yes, you will. The focus distance for these devices is typically in the 1 to 2 meter range.I am wondering if near-sighted people such as myself wouldn't need them, though
lol I got the email. I was wondering if everyone got it but they said “select” to make sound exclusiveIf you don't know.... then you're not selected 🤣
Did anyone suggest that anyone’s life was going to end?Or just try before you buy regardless. Your life isn’t going to end because you’re not a day-1 adopter.
Only affordable for someone with a Tim Cook salary and a US Green Card. The rest of the world can get stuffed!
