People really use Safari when we have Chrome and Firefox?

Yes.

I prefer Safari. Firefox never felt like a Mac program to me and Chrome...well Chrome was ok but I saw no advantage to it so why bother switching?

(Yes, I know FF eventually became more Mac-like over time, but why switch now? I've spent year getting used to Safari. It was too late.)

Requires restart... Grrr.

I wonder if I can run more than 100 tabs on a 3 year old MBP now.

Yes.

Safari and opera on my iMac and macbook.
Chrome on PC. Firefox on solaris.

Safari beats any other browser on the mac. A 0.5s delay in loading a page doesn't effect me much whereas if I scroll down a heavy page, and it clutters, then it will be outrageous.

Chrome is nice but the user experience is terrible both on windows and mac. But again it is the most reliable browser on windows.

Firefox on solaris cause I wasn't given any choice.

Will this stop the constant crashes and freezes caused by flash?

Removing Flash fixes that. Here's how you can setup a keyboard shortcut to send your (now-broken) Flash pages from Safari to Chrome to look at them.

Then close Chrome when you're done. You get a stable Safari with the ability to view Flash content when you need it. The best of both worlds.

EDIT: Also, by following the directions on that page you WILL be able to see Youtube in Safari. With that in place I find I only need Flash once or twice a day.

I hate both Chrome and FF. Safari does more, period. Besides it's a native Mac app, those other browsers are so off beat I feel like they deserve only be on Windows. ;)

I agree about FF (I've never tried Chrome).

Safari feels just as unnatural on Windows and should be Mac only. :)

Apple continuing to acknowledge the vast number of XP users out there, but XP can't support IE9...
