Yeah but my point was I think they will stop the free one year of AppleTV+ for new devices starting tomorrow.
They already stopped that. Now it’s 3 months of Apple Arcade with a new device purchase. At least that’s what I got with my 12 Pro.

For what it's worth I have Verizon and free Apple Music, but need a family plan. There was only one person who used the Apple Music in my family plan that wouldn't get it free from Verizon so they just pay me the $10 a month for it. As for Hulu I get the Disney bundle which is Disney+/Hulu/ESPN+ and I get that on the newest unlimited plans they have. I also get the Hulu with no ads version as I just pay an extra $6 a month for that and the rest is included with Verizon.
How do you pay an extra 6 a month? I've had multiple conversations with verizon/hulu about that just yesterday and they said there is no option to do that?

Also curious how this transition will work, will we need to cancel old plans before starting AppleOne?

Still expensive. I'll wait.
Maybe if they offer a choose your bundle option. I'll drop Arcade for News and maybe 1tb storage and then maybe that might be worth $19.

That’s great, and I will eventually get it, but the devil is in the details. What about those of us that currently get some of the services for free? Premier plan loses some value without fitness+, will they still charge the advertised price? What about those with two Apple IDs. They said it would be fine, but haven’t really told us how they will ensure that. I’m mildly annoyed.

Which they won't do since they are clearly bundling services that don't really sell with others that do.

do I want ESPN or other stupid sports programs? No. But I'll keep getting charged for them if I sub to normal cable.
Apple TV+ hasn’t been worth the 1 show and 1 movie I’ve watched on it. No reason, none, to keep it.

Apple Music isn’t worth it when I pay $55 a year for Sirius XM and Pandora combo. So $4 something a month instead of $14.99 a month. Hmmm no brainer.
Im amazed when I see people still subscribing to satellite radio. The quality is awful, unless you use their internet streams.

Put me in the camp that doesn’t find it that compelling. I pay for a year of music up front (solo), and 2TB for my family … which is $220 a year total.

it’s not bad if your whole family wants in but mine doesn’t seem to really have interest in the extras and I don’t really find news or tv compelling yet and just don’t really game on my phone. So not really worth bumping to $360 per year.

really think the storage tiers are pretty lame, as Apple generally is with storage. No family can get by with the 200gb for long

Off the bat for me, I think the premier plan is break even. My current subscriptions (prices going by memory):

1. 2TB = 9.99
2. Arcade = 4.99
3. TV+ = Free (thru Feb)
4. Music for family = 14.99

Add all that up and it's 29.97. So am thinking about doing nothing for the time being since Fitness is not yet a thing. I guess I would get News+ (FWIW) in that for nothing beyond what I'm paying -- but haven't had a strong hankering for it.

Just seems weird to launch without the premier (no pun intended) Fitness feature that would make the decision much clearer...
My monthly free is currently $25.
2TB = $10/mo.
Music (Fam) = $15/mo.
TV+ = Free (thru Feb.)

So for $5 more - which would be the added cost of TV+ when my free version expires in February - Premiere adds News+, Arcade and Fitness+??

What am I missing? Seems a no-brainer, given my current Services configuration.

Because they needed to prop up a mediocre service which otherwise would see thousands of “cancellations” due to the free trial ending and therefore plummet the stock price

You think the stock price would plummet because people cancelled tv+ subs?

A premiere bundle for singles seems to be missing. Don't want to pay the same as a whole family ;)

I told you the only thing I don’t do is Arcade. Why should I pay for something I don’t use in the bundle? My monthly total without Arcade is $12.33. If someone uses Arcade, then it would be worth it to them to save $5 - $6.
The problem is that your statement was misleading.

“It is more expensive to get the individual bundle than it is to pay for the services individually.”

that’s not true. Apples to apples would mean you compare ALL services.

your statement should have read, “It is more expensive to get the individual bundle than it is to pay for the services individually that I only use.”

multiple people are calling you out. Your statement is false.

Sorry but I didn't understand if Fitness+ will be included in the Apple One bundle when it launches, or will it be a separate monthly fee.

I think they could let people choose a bouquet of, say, 4 services for a custom bundle. E.g. News+ for me is not interesting: being an Italian living in Germany, my news outlets of choice are all out of the News+ range.

I'm definitely interested in Apple Fitness, but, can't imagine paying for something that isn't available yet. Seems weird that they are putting these out while missing services.

I wonder how this will work with "split" accounts. I have an icloud account and an itunes account - I already pay 17.50/m for family apple music and icloud 200gb. Seems like a no brainer to go for family at 20/m to include arcade and tv+ for an extra 2.50

It's covered. See this thread...

For anyone inquiring, I just contacted Apple Support regarding what to do with old subscriptions when subscribing to an Apple One plan. The response I received is that you don’t have to cancel anything. It automatically transfers.

What I want to know is if I purchase Apple One today, will it refund the extra months I’ve already paid for an annual subscription to one of their services. My Apple Arcade annual subscription ends in January.

After the debacle of iTunes Match, which Apple didn’t cancel or refund after subscribing to Apple Music, I wonder if it’ll do the right thing this time

What happens if you have Verizon and you get Apple Music for free? And I pay for
2 TB of storage?
You're only paying $9.99 per month right now. Why would you possibly be interested in these bundles?
