Oh but I've tried! In years past I've seriously tried to keep my life rumor- and spoiler-free, but unfortunately a lot of my friends are techy so they'll be like "Oh man did you hear what they're planning to do with this year's iPhones??"

Also I listen to a lot of tech podcasts, videos, etc and they all mention rumors too. It's actually quite hard for me to avoid

That's also true of the stainless steel model, which I have and love. Keep in mind that some people prefer heavy watches to light ones (within reason, of course) and also that the non-aluminum models have crystal screens instead of glass screens.

Also, as far as pricing is concerned, you could say the same thing about a Hermes band vs. a regular leather band or about an Apple band vs. a third-party band.

It should be about the same. Both are heavier than aluminum.
For the 40mm, Ceramic, SS & Titanium are all listed on Apple's website at 39.8 grams. The aluminum is only 30.1.
Doesn't seem right that all three are exactly the same.

Really? Yikes that is awful. Well I wanted AOD but my series 4 gold stainless is gorgeous and I’m not parting with it only one year later for such a paltry sum. I probably won’t part with it at all. I still have my Series 2 Black sport that is my go-to option for swimming use.

I’ll wait for more sensors and more functions and definitely better sleep tracking.

Nothing says you have to. I’m not exactly giving s3 ss black to Apple for 70 dollars. I sold it to someone for 300.

I don’t really like dealing with strangers or selling to friends. I will just stick with what I have. I was drooling over the AOD when I saw the Keynote but I’ve settled back down now to reality. ;)
