How is the preorder going to work? Are we going to pay tonight if we're picking up in store?

I need to use like 5 Apple Store gift cards... I'm worried about how that's going to work out with thousands of people hitting the servers tonight...

Wouldn't the most expensive technically be those $7k ones on the Edition? Some variations of the modern buckle, I think?

I think they are quoting starting prices.

With a credit card they don't debit the card until it ships normally.

I'm getting a pink sport model for my wife. She's a gym nut so it's perfect for her. I haven't worn a watch in 10 years and I don't feel like starting again now so I think this is one Apple product I'll be skipping. But at least I get to enjoy it vicariously through my wife. She's very excited.

Looks like a ton of interest in this release! Am I the only one that is going to wait a year and get the next generation? I'm thinking these are pretty spendy coupled with being the first generation.
I'm betting we will see significant improvements in the next round.

I'm sure you're not the only one but I have had every release of the iPhone and it has been very nice taking the ride. Someone will buy your first gen so you can move to the second.

Well what I quoted was: "Pricing varies heavily based on band choice, with the cheapest band being the $49 Sport Band and the most expensive band being the $449 Link Bracelet."

And I'm saying I don't think the $449 link bracelet is the most expensive band, just the most expensive of the non-Edition bands.

I mentioned in another thread that Japan online orders start at 4:01 pm and not 3:01 pm as again indicated in the main post. Don't know who to tell to change it!

That being said, I will be ordering! Don't know which one though...

Hopefully this isn't another iPhone 6 fiasco where the store refuses to work.

Will they need the credit card now? If so, will they will charge it now? I hope they do charge it now, so it's finally over with.

I want to ship it to the store and pick it up then.

Yes, indeed. Angela Ahrendts is right. Ordering Apple products is going to be easier than ever.

Super disappointed I cannot order a space black stainless steel case with a black sport band. I don't really care for the $449 link bracelet, but I do want the space black stainless case.

I really wish that Apple would set their preorder start times to be more convenient for Americans. It's fairly inconvenient on the west coast and REALLY inconvenient on the east coast.

I really want to buy one but I am still finding trouble with cause. I really don't think glancing at my wrist for texts or email is worth it unless voice dictation is like STELLAR. I'm going to want to reply from there. Grrr..

I am enjoying the heck out of my new 13" Force Touch MBP though. I sold my late 2013 15" and it paid for this new one plus put some cabbage in my pocket. I really like this size. The performance is perfect for my casual computing life. (with a touch of hard core now and then)

It would be cool if there was some way to do a rolling release at midnight in each time zone. But there isn't a practical way to do that with online sales.
