Apparently South Korea is lower on the list than Latvia, Liechtenstein and Slovakia.

I wonder when they will ever get the iPhone 4S

Why is this

They're in the EU, which makes everything much easier than S. Korea or NZ.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

My only issue with this is the further constraint of an already choked supply of devices. There are preorders stateside that haven't been filled yet, and it's not going to be any easier opening up orders to 77 more countries.. However, I am very happy that our friends overseas can have the opportunity to get their hands on this phone. Hopefully apple has ramped up production even further to manage the awesome but overwhelming demand..

Liechtenstein (and Switzerland) are most definitely not in the EU. They are no doubt part of the same supply chain though, and have both affluent populations and high rates of iPhone penetration (I live in CH and see iPhones everywhere).

Really awesome that our small country of Finland gets the i phone 4S this quickly. Usually the wait is several months. Apple is really firing on all cylinders. ;)

Just wiki searched Vantaa. Looks like a great place to be at. What is the cost of living like?

Does everyone understand the amount of work it must have taken to get Seri to understand and work as it does in all these different languages? Unbelievable! Seri understands me better than my wife of 42 years!

siri only works in 3 or 4 languages so far and the location stuff is US only as well

Cost of living here when you look at the whole big picture isn't bad. For the excellent services we get, like universal healthcare for all, free university education and subsidized daycare for kids. My tax rate is around 21% and I make about 5,000 euro's less than the avg salary per yr is in Finland.
I might also add that the education ranking as been at or near the top in the world as indicated by PISA studies.

Being a native Californian and living here for eight years, the only thing I don't care for is the long Winters.

who?

You understand that it's spelled "Siri" not "Seri", right?

And "no comment" on your interpersonal relationship with your wife of 42 years. ;)

Scandinavia as a whole has one of the top overall quality of life rankings in the world... plus the midnight sun is fun too, yes?!

I informed my wife that she was giving me a 64GB iP4s in white for Xmas. Of course I'll be buying it, but she can wrap it up and put it under the tree.

She pulled a bit of a face at the price until I pointed out that the MacBook Air she's getting costs a lot more, to which she said "But it's only a phone", women, eh? :roll eyes:

Any how, it's a major step forward for Belgium to have these available direct from Apple. The operator here that had the exclusivity - Mobistar - are a bunch of incompetent morons, so to be able to avoid all the BS they've given us is tremendous. In fact it looks like there are very few now, if any, countries where there's operator exclusivity?

:p You're just married to the wrong woman. My husband wisely knew that the only gift I wanted for our anniversary was a white iPhone 4S. And he got it for me. My hero! :D I'd say it was the best present ever, but I think the iPad2 he got me for my birthday was that.

where are they?

Nice to be offering in Europe and the rest of the world, but I would like to be able to get one right here in California.

Ah, don't worry, she has many other redeeming features :D She already has an iP4, iPad1 and iMac - so she's not so devoid of Apple products herself. That being said we're up to more than 20 devices and Mac's in the house now

i forgot the country roll out differences. When reading the news earlier this week about 4 million sold within a few days That was only in 7 countries. And now another 22.

So if 4 million sold in the 1st 7 country debut then it should be another 12 million in that 22 country debut.

Well not really

Hey guys I'm from SLovakia and the news isnt really true . We do not have Apple Store in our country like Czech guys so there are no pre-orders :) We just have tu wait for our operators starting in 10/28 with much more expensive prices :) Damn it

Great

When the hell is New Zealand getting it Apple?

----------

Why is Mexico getting it with them then lol

Oh and NZ is close to Australia, so why isn't NZ getting them haha

Who knows why we have been left out this time round, never has made sense considering that NZ falls under Apple Aus and we are run by them but Apple Inc does strange things.
