Now waiting for a charter. And from scans posted here looks like it sits for another 12 hours. 🙄

Keep an eye on the future flights of this flight number:

It's a special flight, and the future scheduled flights won't appear until probably day of. Some people think the phones are on different flights but I have pretty compelling evidence that the 9/24-10/1 phones are on that flight right now (In which case you'll see people noting regular scans in Louisville sometime after 9:30 eastern today). It's only run the last three years, only between Hong Kong and either Louisville or Chicago, and only during Apple launch season - so - yeah.

Take all of the scans before Louisville with a grain of salt.

Sometimes scans will be for a future time yet, also, sometimes scans won't come in until much after they occur, and sometimes they would appear to break the laws of physics..

I also found that people were looking at this special fight in 2017 with regard to Apple Watch pre-orders, and also noted the seemingly-from-the-future scans in Anchorage.

This may be due to idiosyncrasies with large deployments aboard charter aircraft, or it may be part of a larger security practice.

If I am correct, however, keeping an eye on the next HKG->ANC->SDF journey of Cathay Freight 2084 will be the most reliable indicator of timing you have, until the phones have individual stateside scans, which won't happen until Louisville.

UPS 2997 landed at Louisville and Cathay Pacific 2084 is 43 minutes out. We will soon see scans within next hour or two. I will be curious if they tie to the later flight that seems to be one we are guessing. Just something fun tll we get our toys.

CPA2084 is on 10mi final for RWY 17R in Louisville.
Go time, kids.

edit: wheels down at 9:18 EDT

I just got a notification from the apple store that an items would be delivered today. this is my first time returning an IUP, would that be the return box? or could my phone actually make it to Florida today? still shows AK on UPS tracking.

I know once my fiancé had her phone scanned at Louiseviille, she received it next day here in Florida. Since there are two UPS flights to Orlando in 4 and 6 hours, I’m hoping it makes it onto one of those and doesn’t sit till tomorrow.

Yes that’s possible. They truck mine usually to central Illinois. 3.5 hours. So it could be in town by tonight depending on logistics

While we are all hoping that Apple is making getting us our phones their priority, the reality is that as long as they deliver by NEXT TUESDAY, they have met their delivery goal. I doubt very much that Apple is at all concerned with the timing of deliveries after the initial first day phones.

Scan the package already! Need to get her on the flight to Orlando in 5 hours haha.
Sometimes i have seen the process take 2-3 hours especially during middle of night arrivals. Not sure what right in business day is like. They could have more at this time or maybe its a steady flow

So i went ahead and used a delivery window on My Choice for a, 1:15-3:15 delivery on the 26th for my phone. Any of My Choice members ever do that? and did UPS deliver within your chosen window? Just asking because I’ve never used it before.

I was wondering the same thing. Is it like $8 or something?

I hope not, but here’s my guess. Package will get delayed today and not get scanned till later. Then tomorrow they will rush and we will get the phones as scheduled on Friday. I pray I’m wrong, but this **** has been a nightmare and I lack hope.

Tbh it’s like 50/50. I don’t find much use to it. I put it on this shipment because why not.

but I will say when there’s an estimated delivery range, that’s usually accurate.

Even if it doesn’t get scanned until tomorrow you’ll get it Friday. Now that there’s a date in the UPS tracking, that is their commit date to Apple.
