Hope Abrams/Bad Robot rather put some heavy focus on Episode IX, the last episode by Johnson was just terrible.

Talking about Star Wars? Last one was just utter dire rubbish.

The single story films Solo and Rogue One have for me been way way way better films :)
Still can’t beat those original three though.

Talking about this stuff is also far more interesting then discussing Apple far too little too late programme ideas. Apple Music works, they had a strong presence in music before that and have kept it with this service. With original content they are utterly lost and have zero presence and will do for sometime.. everyone keeps saying it, look at Amazon and Netflix shows.. Apple is no where near those..

Actually her most recent movie was "Peppermint" but I can understand why they left that one off the list…

The last movie was terrible on fan service, as it did not give long-time fanboys the exact predictable plot lines and outcomes they expected. In other words, it actually was a good movie.

Why than...

...this nonsense Harry Potter like chase and the complete Canto Bight scene at all?
...why introduce the mighty Dreadnought and Supremacy and blow them up 10 minutes later?
...why basically destroy Kylo Ren’s dark and rather cool Episode VII appearance and aura by crushing his mask?
...this milking scene?
...why letting Leia fly through space like Mary Poppins?
...why can’t the First Order fleet catch some Resistance transporters?

Say what you want, Abrams first take might have been more predictable, but far more logical and a good baseline for future episodes (see introduction of Kylo Ren for example).

Well, we still have the standalones, right? My thoughts and sorry for this going off topic...

Apple seems to be picking the most boring sounding shows/movies I’ve ever heard of.
Its a bit like the awkward dad trying to look cool at a school disco, look I can do it too. As time goes by they will be doing more of this sort of thing, wanting to keep themselves relevant as markets and tastes change.

This along with the Frozen Xmas event sum up how incredibly dull and uncreative apple is under Cook. Like, that car karioke bull, did he miss the whole chapter where they built their business around creative pros?

There’s nothing ‘different’ about apple today, they should seriously watch their old ads and wake up.

Is Apple trying to make Netflix look good??? I mean, each and every show that has been announced seems a boring fest full of Apple exec’s friends.

Won’t be long til I cancel Netflix. Losing the marvel shows is a blow. I can’t imagine ever wanting to pay a dime for apples half baked content.

Can’t see this doing anything to help apple at all. Such a waste of time for them. Not as dumb as apple car though.
Right because a new Mac Pro will make turn a $2T company.

You’ve seen none of this content but know it’s half baked? How about actually watching something before deciding?

Is this Apple news or Lifetime network programming?

YAWN.

Where's Apple's NARCOS, or Peaky Blinders?

Losing all the Marvel crap is a big win imo. You Americans have such bad taste in entertainment these days 8(

I never watched them, but what would you recommend?

The shows seem like they are the stuff HBO and possibly Netflix didn't pay for. Honestly, if the Apple TV subscription was just HBO, where you could watch all of their content past and present it would be just about worth it for me.

Followed shortly by orders for "It's Not Very Nice to Have the Same," "I Don't Know if I Wanna Was," and "You Have any Chance That We Will."

All sure to be hits!
AngerDanger, can you write some sort of code into your posts so that they always automatically get my thumb-up? Who else wants to save the trouble liking each one separately?

If they genuinely want to get into this streaming thing they really need to hire people that have a clue. They seem really out of touch with what’s popular.
