Apple Packaging

OMG all this is so true and beyond!!!

I have a small altar on my bookcase that has my iPod box, iPod dock box, Tiger box, Airport Express box all stacked up nicely. My iBook box is by my desk. I was so thrilled to see the nice packaging when I received my stuff last year. Even my family was impressed.

I thought it would be cool to hang the iPod box from the ceiling by one corner so it spins around. Haven't done that, though.

yeah, sadly I've still got everything - TiBook, iBook, Airport Extreme, Airport Card, 20 GB 2G iPod, 2 iPod Minis, Tiger, iLife, etc., etc.

I think I need help.

Mind you, I don't leave the lights on all the time for my boxes, but on good days it's a nice touch.

Do stickers come with iPods? I got a 20gig for x-mas this past December and I didn't have any in the box! Was I cheated?!
 
hahaha i thought i was crazy for loving the apple boxes. i remember when my imac came in the mail i was sooo happy just seeing the box(same goes with the ipod box). ive kept all my mac boxes-imac/20gb ipod/30gb ipod

yeah, you were cheated. both my 20gb and 30gb ipod came with a set of 2 stickers.

And so was I. I didn't get any, I bought mine a year ago...

Seems its a recent thing...

My 20gb 3G, 20gb 4G and my partner's 4gb mini didn't come with any - but my 60gb photo did.

Mine came with a hypno-coin. Ever since I opened my iPod box I've had this overwhelming compulsion to buy more Apple stuff :eek:
 
I had to thrown out my iPod 3G and Powerbook boxes when I move from Ottawa to Hanoi... nooooooooooo *cries hysterically... my father refused to let me bring them with me, said it was too big and clunky [and my brother got to keep his VAIO box, not fair] but I did took plenty of pictures of them to remind myself of the pretty box that I travelled so far to get [went from one side of the city to another, there was only one Powerbook available in the city of Ottawa on that day :eek: ]

Apple does have some of the best packaging. There's always an inside joke here when people buy new macs to smell and admire the packaging. Apple wraps it up like a present.

My only complaint is that the iPod packaging is slowly declining in bulid quality and "specialness."

I was stunned by the box of my Rev. A 15" PB it was just like I imagine all apple products, well designed, functional, and beautiful. I also loved my 3rd Gen iPod box, how it slipped out from the box and then unfolded revealing the ipod on one side and the cables, case on the other. However after looking at my dads shuffle box and mini box, i think apple has begun to cut some costs on their packaging of ipods. Have you guys found the same to be true from their computer packaging as well?

All Apple packaging is amazing - even the free t-shirt I got when they opened the Bullring store was beautifully packed... I've still got the box:

Me too. I have every box from every Apple product that came in one, and I do keep every single bag from the Apple Store. I still have the very first bag I got a few years ago, which is the old translucent blue bag with the silver logo on it. Cool stuff.

i still have my ipod mini box [its in my living room] and i have my powerbook g4 box in my closet....somewhat displayed..even though its in the closet. as well as my os x tiger box. :)
 
I will always keep the boxes to my apple products, I keep them in the loft, when the products have been replaced they will go back in their original boxes and be stored in the loft forever!
 
I still have the old iMac box, it's keyboard box, and a few other boxes. I also have my current PB box and iPod box. I was required to cut the label info off of my PB box and printer box for the Cram & Jam deal.

Oh, and I still have my HP printer box. works great for moving the printer back and forth from University and home.
