Apple Pauses Work on Foldable iPad

Didn't Apple do more or less the same when they developed the iPhone?
iirc they started out with an iPad like device, then paused that and focused on the iPhone. Then released the iPad a few years later. Or did I remember this wrong?

A foldable iPad never really made sense. A better solution (if the problem actually exists) is a MacBook Air with a touchscreen and keyboard that flips all the way around.

Those are Pro level features imo.

Never made sense. Glad to see Apple coming to senses.

The market wants a foldable phone that turns into a tablet. That part is clear.

You look at Huawei Mate XT. It unfolds to the size of 10.2” iPad. It’s thinner than iPad Pro. I think once Apple saw that, the foldable iPad made zero sense. At least for now.

OMG the creases on that thing are ridiculous, what a piece of 💩… 🤮
