I use Apple Pay for somewhere between a quarter and a third of my brick and mortar transactions. I wish more stores supported it in my area. Most do on campus, but not as many around town. I'm seeing it more online as well, and it always makes me more inclined to make a purchase from a website that I haven't used before since I know my payment information isn't able to be stored by them and hacked later. I just used it on Bethesda's site last night to buy some Fallout merch and it filled in all my shipping info and boom, done. Took seconds. I also use Apple Pay Cash to send money frequently. It's just so fast and convenient, and if you use a debit card there is no fee.
I'm hoping that we're reaching a tipping point and a lot more online and brick and mortar stores will begin accepting it. It's ridiculous that it's almost 2019 and most stores don't.
