Several users now reporting on Twitter that they can register HSBC cards with Apple Pay but I still can't, despite having a contactless card. I am wondering if its because I am on iOS 9 public beta?

Have people with the other participating UK banks successfully registered and used Apple Pay on the public beta?
Not happening for me either. Also on the PB, and also have a contactless card. Just keeps telling me to contact issuer.

EDIT: try adding it through the apple watch app instead (if you've got an apple watch that is).

Doesn't work through wallet, but when i tried it through Apple Watch > Wallet & Apple Pay it worked fine.

iOS 9 Public Beta here and I've just registered two First Direct Debit Cards and one FD Credit Card, although the Credit Card says it's being activated.

Just added both to watch as well as phone

I've added my HSBC card to the Apple Watch, but my iPhone keep giving me error :(
My card is NOT contactless, is that the problem? But why would it work on the Apple Watch then... :(

Edit: it's working now :D

You're not on the public beta! It says you're running iOS 8.3
Signature incorrect, I don't usually get time to go round every two weeks and update the signature. Especially as I use Tapatalk and don't get those options.

I am on 9 beta 4

HSBC debit now working on my phone too. Worked on my watch from the get go.

Tried adding to my phone just now and it worked, said activating card for a minute after adding, then changed to "ready". All is well.

Now working on public beta, although as soon as I registered my card with Apple Pay, HSBC blocked my card. Fraud department called me and I had to pass security questions to add Apple Pay and reactivate my card!!.....SMOOTH

Successfully registered my FD debit card on my phone (iOS 9 beta) and apple watch (not beta) this morning.

No call from the security department yet :)
