iPad Pro Apple Pencil Order Status Thread

Yes a good option they seem to be tied into a getting some in stock for order to pick up at local stores now over past week or so including one I purchased. On other hand my purchase direct from apple same day as Pro release and purchase, was still out for mid December. Even though as of last night and still this morning they are out of stock online. When I ordered mine (follow the thread daily) it was in stock and available for order. So its worth considering but obviously check status when you order that its in stock and they will give you real date to ship to store which for me was 4 days rather than 2 like other response. But quick.
 
Has anyone been able to walk into an Apple Store or any other retailer and pick one up in NYC? If so where and what time? I'm not sure what time the stores receive/put out their stock. Thanks!

I got my pencil 10 days after I got my iPad Pro (ordered all three items within the first minute the website came online), and I got my keyboard 5 days later. I, too, saw some stores including Apple in Denver area that were carrying at least the pencil, if not both, prior to my getting my order. This is quite a slap to the face from the Apple Watch fiasco, when Tim and Arlene PROMISED all us upset online order users (that had waited weeks and months) that they would NOT sell in stores until the initial orders got theirs. Seems Apple has a short memory, and is returned to treating their users with disrespect.
 
*sigh*, still no movement of my Pencil order. Ordered at 8am EST, on Nov 11th. Still processing, estimated delivery Dec 7th - Dec 14th. I was so hoping to have the pencil before Dec 5th when I leave for vacation.

I would love to know this too

Its a bit crazy that they don't allow people to make a reservation online to pick one up
 
Pencil finally delivered from apple.

Hit the last day of my original delivery range..
I ordered around on Nov 11th around 3:30 EST.
 
Ended up buying on at Walmart.com 15 minutes ago. I could rush delivery for $10 and get it on December 4th, but I decided to just have it delivered on a normal delivery (don't absolutely need it right now) so I'll get it December 9th.

As I'm posting this, went back to Walmart.com to notify people and they are already all sold out.

Should be today or tomorrow. I had an original estimate of December 3rd, and i just got the mail from Best Buy stating that my order is ready for pickup.

As long as I get it sometime this week I'll be happy. Better than the mid december delivery date I got from apple.
 
Just got my shipment tracking number from Walmart, it should come Friday. I will be out of town until Saturday but it sure beats my 12/24 Apple estimate. I will cancel the Apple order when it arrives, hope that helps move someone else up in line.

Yep, that happened to me with the Apple TV order. I just refused delivery so it was sent back to Apple.
 
Ordered my Pencil from BB on 11/25/15 and was ready for pick up yesterday. Didn't get in from Thanksgiving vacation until late so I'll pick up today. I was also quoted Dec. 4th but it's ready to go :)

Ordered it the same day as you for pickup on the 4th and Im still waiting. ugh!
 
I finally got my pencil from Best Buy and canceled my Apple order once I got home. I can't believe that I got it from Best Buy and not Apple. Still waiting on the keyboard from Best Buy which says that they're processing it. Hopefully I'll get that sometime this week as well. Yay me!

As for the pencil, its good but need to get used to it. I also use a 54 stylus which is great but not as good as the Apple Pencil. I hope everyone gets there stuff soon as well. Cheers!
 
Ugh. Bestbuy canceled my order because they charged me four times and they still kept trying to charge me more times. So my card flagged it as suspicious and froze my card. Before I was able to get a hold of my cards support team Best Buy just canceled the order. I was due to receive it by December 4th.
 
Have the Pencil ordered on Best Buy, supposedly for in store pickup on 12/4 - I don't see any change in my order status on BBY.com, and the hold they had placed on my credit card dropped.

Ugh. I hope I'm able to still snag it Friday.
