Woo hoo, my pencil shipped today supposedly for delivery tomorrow! Was initially scheduled for Dec 7th through the 14th. (ordered Nov 11th at 8:30 AM est). Can't wait.
Ordered the Pencil and Smart Keyboard last week, 27th from the Apple Irish store. Delivery is still 4-5 weeks. From people's experience, is that accurate or is there a chance of getting them this side of Christmas?

This is fine for me since I need my apple pencil for grad school and Christmas break starts next week for me for about a month.

My Best Buy preorder for the pencil should be available for pickup tomorrow, but I still haven't received an email.

Same here. I got an email from them this morning, I thought it was the pickup email but alas it wasn't. They wanted to let me know my order was delayed and it will be available the 4th (tomorrow). Yeah I received the same thing. It's bizarre because I was originally quoted as Dec 4th anyways so there is no actual delay.......yet.
Guess we'll find out tomorrow.
Well, I got an email form them about an hour ago saying it was ready for pickup! At least best buy delivers on their promises.
Lol that's kinda funny honestly.
"Sorry, but you're order has been delayed until the date we originally promised you........... Btw, it's ready for pickup right now."
So my order with delivery estimation of dec 30-6 Jan, just went to preparing for shipment!! I originally had 20-30 nov date but was pushed to the end of queue because of issues with my CC. Anyone with the same dates get their status changed?
Picked it up from best buy and canceled my apple order. All i can say is this thing is amazing!
I got sorta lucky and checked best buys website last week when they were selling them for like 15 minutes. Arrived to the store late today and I am picking it up tomorrow morning. Can't wait!
I would imagine Apple will follow there stigma of 'under promise and over deliver' with some of these 4-5 week shipments. Good luck everyone.

Got the email from BBY overnight stating that my pencil was "delayed" with an availability of 12/4 lol... I really hope this means I'll be able to go pick it up today.
I got the same message. What I don't understand is when I ordered the item on 11/25, December 4th was the date to pickup in store.
Same here. Weird. I saw a few others in this thread get the same email.. really hoping I'm able to pick it up today.
Got email around 3: PM from Bestbuy to pick up and pick up completed.

Mine still has a delivery date of 6-11 Jan (ordered Nov 27). Anyone have previous experience of Apple under promising and over delivering or is it safe to say my Pencil and Keyboard will not be arriving this side of Christmas? (based in Ireland).
Anybody looking for a pencil I have 2 of them a week old I'm willing to part with returning my pro and lost my receipt for my pencils
