What happens when they silence someone you agree with without your knowledge that it ever happened? What happens in 50 years time when this is conducted on a whole different scale?

I think you give them too much credit with the "control a very good percentage of the voting public". But if that's the case, you're making the case for me. If the current state of politics in the US is due to all the verifiably false information spreading on social media as truth, then I'm more concerned that they aren't blocking it.

You bet Trump lies, and he's called out for it time-after-time, yet many of his groupies believe and repeat whatever he says. Should social media sites provide an echo chamber for those lies without the factual context, after they've been revealed as falsehoods?

It isn't bad. It is a company that I choose to put money into. If perhaps the company (that wants to market its product to me) doesn't want to play the way I like, I can put my money elsewhere. See how that works?

May I ask how you feel about MacRumours censoring speech - only people with a certain post count may discuss in political or social threads?
