Oh now I see it: Watch an Apple show on an Apple TV after listening to Apple Music on my Apple phone after a day at work staring at an Apple screen connected to an Apple Computer...while...

It’s so refreshing to see Apple invest in young, undiscovered talent.
Please stop trying to be Netflix, and create something NEW.

Unbreakable, The Village, Signs and The Visit were good. Even The Happening, Spl-t and Lady in the Water weren't bad.

I don't know why people seem to hate him so much these days.

The Village was awful. The Happening is in my worst 10 list; even Planet 9 is better than that crap. (My opinion, not attacking your tastes)

The name M. Night Shyamalan pretty much guarantees it will be bad. He made 1.5 good films, then never delivered again.

Nice to meet you, Mr. Shymalan :)

To be honest I don't think I'm gushing with excitement for anything we've heard Apple are apparently planning.
I'll reserve judgement until I've actually seen it but, meh.
Maybe I'm just getting old :D

I hope he doesn't write a movie about aliens who can be hurt by water, invading a planet comprised of 70% water. That would be dumb.

Sure, but we as a species are in the process of trying to colonize a planet with unbreathable air, so maybe not that dumb :D

It's clear by the continuing careers of M. Night Shamalyan, Tyler Perry, Adam Sandler and Michael Bay that they'll let any idiot make a movie.

Idiots? All of them pull in big audiences and make enormous profits consistently, and as a result are immensely wealthy. The fact that they all sleep fine on that pile of cash probably blunts your disapproval of their work. I'd argue that the real idiots are the "artistic purists" who are so insistent on their own vision and vanity projects being the only right option. Their work rarely appeals to any broader audience and they inspire no one. Exhibit A: Lars von Trier with Antichrist and Nymphomaniac.

How nice of you to be kind and generous by describing them as mediocre.
Personally I'd have to rate his films after Sixth Sense as a pile of steaming arse gravy :p

Well i try to be polite :)

When a director is solely referenced to a movie he did 20+ years ago says something.

Are all these shows going to be bundled into Apple Music, and located within the Music app, or is Apple planning a parallel movie and TV streaming service, like Apple Music, with a subscription and unlimited movies and TV from the store, including these exclusives?
